The Worst Blackout (Lina x Doon)

Lina and Doon were still on the ground holding hands. The blackout has been at least 20 minutes so far. "Doon?" Lina asked. "Yes Lina?" Doon replied. "What if the lights don't come back on?" She said, about to cry. "We don't need to think about that. I promise the lights will come back on." Doon reassured Lina. She started softly crying. "If they don't, I wont be able to see Granny, Poppy, Clary and everyone else eve-" Lina was cut off by Doon gently quieting her. He hugged her, to calm her down. "Everything will be alright Lina." He said. Lina was calm with Doon's arms around her. She decided to take the moment to tell Doon her feelings about him. "I have something to tell you. Please don't think I am weird. I really hope this does not affect ou-" "Just say it Lina." Doon knew what was coming. "I- I just. I love you." Lina said, relieved to let it out. "You know what Lina?" Doon asked. "I love you too." They were happy and calm, even though they were sitting in the utter darkness all alone.
