By the time Ye Qing Luo returned to the pill refining room, it had already been two hours.

Ghost Doctor’s original sunken, dark face, was filled with dark clouds now.

“Something happened, so I got delayed.” Ye Qing Luo lowered her head, as she chuckled softly.

Ghost Doctor gave a cold harrumph, as his expressed turned gloomy, “Troublesome.”

Ye Qing Luo gave a few dry laughs.

Seeing her putting up this expression, he was too lazy to scold her further, as he flicked his sleeves and walked back into the secret room in the pill refining room.

For the rest of the time, Ye Qing Luo started on arranging the other medicinal cabinet.

With the experience from the earlier part of the day, tidying up the second medicinal cabinet was much easier now.

After tidying up both cabinet’s medicinal herbs and arranging the names properly through the shapes and effects, were all recorded into Ye Qing Luo’s mind.

Ye Qing Luo patted her hands as she surveyed one round on the medicinal cabinet, to certify that she hadn’t missed a single drawer.

She reverted, and started tidying up the wooden table, which was once again messed up.

Ghost Doctor had not returned so Ye Qing Luo looked at the surroundings, and when she saw that messy and disoriented book shelf, she began tidying up the books there as well.

She remembered the last time she touched that place, she accidentally opened the secret room for alchemy.

This time, she took special care to avoid touching that switch.

All the books which Ghost Doctor had saved, were all related to pill refining.

Some recorded various medicinal ingredients’ geographical locations, and some were about the origins of the medicinal herbs records and legends.

Arranging further inside, there were quite a number of prescriptions on rare medicinal pills.

Ye Qing Luo flipped through and saw some familiar prescriptions.

Those were prescriptions which she saw from the Hundred Medicines Pill Refining manual.

Hundred Medicines Pill Refining was something which Old Man Cang had privately kept for a very long time, and it was at least a few hundred, if not a few thousand years old medicinal pill book.

If this was circulated, it would absolutely cause a bloody storm!

Quite a number of prescriptions were also seen on Ghost Doctor’s books.

That went to show just how rare and valuable these books were.

Ye Qing Luo was arranging, and reading these books at the same time.

If there was something which she was interested in, she would spend a little more time and effort in memorising it all.

Time, passed by gradually by minutes and seconds.

Ye Qing Luo had already tidied up the last level of the book shelf.

Just as she was preparing to shift a bench to serve as a ladder, she heard a few lady’s ridiculing laughter coming from outside the pill refining room, “Wasn’t it said that Ye Qing Luo had been sent to the second storey to do cleaning? How come there is no sight of her?”
