"Di, Manik bhaiya tujhe terrace pein bulaya hein," I was stunned hearing Rishabh aka mere chota bhai.

Manik is the good boy of our society. He is the boy everyone dreams about. He is the most well mannered boy, I have ever come across. And he looks, ih my God!!! deadly. Girls can die for his one look.

I was sitting being stunned hearing Rishabh because it never happened before. Then why now?

"Di, I promise, mein yeh baat kisi aur ke sath share nahi karunga. Mujhe patah hein tu Manik bhaiya ko pasand karti hein. Par mujhe baas mere friend ke birthday ke liye 300 rupee dena parega," I was more shocked hearing Rishabh.

How does he know I like Manik???

"Mujhe paisa de aur jaldi ja. Manik bhaiya kabse intezaar kar raha hein," he asked for the money as if I have a have a tree of money. I will pluck it and give him. But I liked it when he told me to go to terrace.

I took out 200 from my bag and gave it to him, "Abhi ke liye yeh rakh. Baki baad mein deti hun."

I went to terrace and saw Manik already there. He came towards me when his eyes fell on me. I gave him a small smile as I don't know what to say. He also returned the favour passing me a smile. We talked a little about my studies and our families.

When I came down, I was happy. I never thought that we will talk like this. That too Manik himself called me. I love the way Manik talks. So simple yet they are amazing.

From that day Rishabh came to me after every 2/3 days and informed me that Manik is calling me. In return, I had to give him money for fast food or balls.

Today I went to terrace and saw Manik is sitting quietly. I understood he was sad. I asked him. He told me that his family is looking for girls for him.

I got a little shock hearing him. After talking to him all these days and spending time with him, I have fallen for him more deeply. This time not just for his charm but the inner Manik. But I didn't understand one thing that is, what was the need of calling me like and talk to me.

Was it just friendship???

I came down without saying anything.

It was fifth day when Rishabh came to me and told that Manik has asked me to come terrace in return I have to cook snacks for his friends.

"This is the last time, di. Then you don't need to go like this again," Rishabh told me. I looked at him being confused.

I was a little hurt too thinking it's the last time. Then he will be married to someone else.

I went to terrace and talked to him a little. In between he told, "Nandini, mom has fixed my alliance. The girl is educated, beautiful. . . . ."

"If the girl is so nice get married to her soon, why are you making delay?" I cut him in mid and told in a little stern voice.

That time Rishabh came from behind and shouted, "Yahan kya ho raha hein?" Rishab stood in front of Manik and he was continuously glaring at him. I was confused why was Rishab behaving like this?

"Dekho Manik bhaiya, I like you a lot. Issiliye mein tumhe apna jiju banana chata hun. Agar abhi aap mere di sein shaadi nahi karoge toh mein aunty ko jake keh dunga ki you love my sister but you are getting married to someone else because she is more rich, then see what will happen," Rishabh told all this in a go making both me and Manik shock.

What was he saying!!!

"Di, iss mein itna hairan hone ki kya hein? Tujhe itna accha ladka milega, issiliye thodi sei commission li hein maine. Baas. Iss mein galat kya hein? Mujhe patah tha tu Manik bhaiya ko pasand karti hein. Issiliye meine baas jhut bolke tujhe yahan vejta tha," my eyes widened.

Mere chota bhai mujhse jhut bola woh bhi mere love life set karne ki liye!!!

Hayee. . . . .

Manik was laughing like maniac hearing all this and I couldn't help blushing.

"Manik bhaiya, you can't marry anyone else than Nandini di. Varna accha nahi hoga," Rishabh tried to threaten Manik which made him chuckle.

M (smiling): Okay, saale sahab. But you didn't let me finish.

That time I was just thinking do I need anything else when I have a chota bhai like Rishabh???

M: Rishabh, your sister will be mine only. Mom has fixed my alliance with your di only.

Manik told the last line looking at me.
