Ellie's pov

" Aren't we there yet? "I asked as the dragon landed on the ground.

"Uhmm nope"mike responded checking the map. He was looking quite confused.

We heard a shuffling in the forest and saw something like a shadow coming towards us.

"Hide!"kira said taking my hand and pushing me at the back of the tree.

"Why are we hiding??"I whispered to mike.

"The shadow people are very dangerous, they feed on.... "

"Ewww"I said scrunching in disgust just imagining what he is trying to say.

"Only if we had an earth bender who could control these trees  against it" kira said shaking her head.

"Uhmm I can,  I have all the elements remember"I said fidgeting.

"You sure you can do this??"mike asked moving to another tree.

"Yes"I replied.

I tried connecting to my earth element, trying to speak with the forest instead my purple energy came out and blasted the thing, it looked our way and roar heavily.

"Oh oh run!!"I shouted at kira and mike..

"My dragon,  let me try calling it"kira tried calling the dragon but nothing responded.

"The dragon is blocking my connection" kira said trying again.

"Gosh what are we going to do??"I asked helplessly as we hid in one of the trees.

"Why don't you try using the earth element again"mike asked looking at me.

"No she can't, it. "

"Don't worry I will"I said interrupting kira.

I whirled my hands then I felt the power of life surrounding the universe, I blended my energy with it and blasted the shadow making it to disappear.

"Wow"mike said clapping.

"We nearly died"kira pouted at mike.

Mike pecked her on her lips.

"W.. What!"kira looked at him stunned and she was actually blushing.

"Where is your dragon??"I asked interrupting their lovey dovey.

"She flew back to asgon"

"What!"

"She needs water to survive so as we are getting closer to the stones, the more water reduces that's why she flew back. "

"Then what are we going to use to travel??"I asked stunned.

"We will walk"mike said grabbing kira's hand and signalling me to follow.

We reached the end of the forest and saw a cliff where a dark man stood wearing a long cloak.
