Ancient One: The language of the mystic arts... is as old as civilization. The sorcerers of antiquity called the use of this language "spells". They are the source code that shapes reality. We harness energy... drawn from other dimensions of the multiverse... to cast spells... to conjure weapons and shields... to make magic.

I looked at her in awe as she creates a shield out of the energy she is talking about, she then took out a familiar ring and handed it to me.

Ancient One: It is a mystical object which enables the wearer to open a dimensional gateway to another location, we called it "Sling Ring".

Peter: I don't need this ring, master. I could travel to any place with my magic.

I replied, why use it when I could travel to any place on the earth with a single thought.

Ancient One: Maybe you can, but don't you think sling ring is way better than that spell?

Well, she is right this Ring is way better than Apparition, Apparition feels like being forced through a very tight rubber tube and it can be very painful sometimes. I wore the ring in my left hand and waits for her to teach me how to open a portal.

Ancient One: Mastery of the sling ring is essential to the mystic arts. They allow us to travel through the multiverse. All you need to do is focus... visualize. See the destination in your mind, look beyond the world in front of you. Imagine every detail. The clearer the picture, the quicker and easier... the gateway will come.

I nodded and moved my right hand in a circular pattern while focusing on a destination, suddenly a portal opened up in front of me that shows my own room at the other side.

[Portal]

Peter: I did it!

Ancient One was gobsmacked as she saw him summoning a perfect portal in his first try.

[He is a genius among genius] she thought. The next thing she showed him is how to conjure a weapon and again he did it on the first try. She never ceased to be amazed by how quickly Peter learns sorcery skills, the more she shows him the more shocked she becomes. No matter how hard and confusing the spell is he will master them on his very first try. In just an hour he mastered how to open a portal and conjure shields and weapons.

Ancient One: That's all for today, Peter. Let's call it a day.

Peter: Yes.

Wait in Doctor Strange movie it shows that she draws power from the Dark Dimension to prolong her life span, what if I give her the Elixir of life without its limitations will she stop drawing power from Dark dimension? I thought.
