Chapter 1-Sleepover

2 weeks before the tragedy

It was a normal day of taking a day off from the krusty krab for once. Everyone outside were smiling, laughing, playing, birds chirping etc. For spongebob it was a bit different in his spare life time."Oh Gary, what am I going to do in my spare time of my day off from the krusty krab?". "I don't know spongebob, maybe you can ask Patrick for something for you to do".

"Hmmm...maybe your right I'll go ask him, I won't be too long". He said. "Of course you won't". Gary murmured. After spongebob left his house to go see Patrick he heard squidward playing the clarinet horribly playing some wrong notes to which he didn't mind at all and decided to knock on his door just to check up on him.

*knock* *knock*

"Who is it!".

"It's me spongebob!".

"Ugh, for crying out loud".

Squidward opened the door revealing an innocent looking Male boy smiling."Hey squidward what are you up to?"."None of your business you annoying buffoon, now get out". Just as he was almost about to close the door, spongebob stopped him."I just wanted to make sure your ok, that's all".squidward sighed softly."I'm fine spongebob, now could you please leave me alone?".

"Alrighty then, see ya!". He said walking out to Patrick's house while squidward closed the door running upstairs just in time looking up at his window seeing the annoying brat knocking."Patrick! It's me spongebob, are you there?". Suddenly his rock house opened."oh Hey spongebob how are you?". "Hehe not really good lately, due to the fact that I got a day off from the krusty krab doing nothing but sleeping and watching TV".

"Really?, Aw that's boring, hmmm...oh!, I know what we can do. How about I come over to your house tonight and stay at your place for the night, that way you won't stay lonely"."Aw shucks Patrick, it will make me very happy"."Of course it, I'm your friend. I'll call you when I'm there"."Alright then, thanks Patrick. See ya!"."Bye bye!". He said waving back.

Spongebob ran back to the house as fast as he can seeing his face filled with joy and excitement. Leaving squidward rolling his eyes."Tch, what an idiot". As he continued playing his clarinet peacefully. Meanwhile with spongebob emotionally excited for the sleepover preparing everything he needs for Patrick to come.

Night time...

*Ring* *Ring*

"Hello?".

"It's me Patrick, can I come in?".

"Oh yeah sure, let me just open the door". He said hanging up going to the door opening it revealing Patrick grinning."Glad your here buddy, come on in"."thanks!". He said entering the house."It really has been a while since we had a sleepover"."I know right, it really has been so long that we were to busy with our own lives going on".

"But hey at least your finally here"."yeah!, so do you want to watch a scary movie?". Patrick said."Oh boy do I!". Excitedly said spongebob grabbing the bowl of popcorn he made putting the movie disk inside the TV of his sitting on the red and white chair leaving Patrick sitting the green couch next to him grabbing some popcorn enjoying the movie.

They had a few jumscares here and there but after the movie was done, they played some games and even truth or dare. "Hahaha, ok ok this is the last one and is going to be good!"."I hope so, come on give it your shot"."Alright, Truth or Dare?"."Truth!"."Do you have a crush on someone?". Spongebob blushed in pink putting his hand on the back of his neck scratching.

"Hehehe, y-you could say that".he said smiling."Tell me tell me!"."Ah bup bup, you said I have a crush on someone and I did, but what you didn't say is WHO I had a crush on"."Oh barnacles!"."Sorry Patrick a secret is a secret"."Can you at least give me hint?"."Nope sorry"."Crap! No fair"."What about you then?, Do you like someone?".

"Actually no, I'm really not interested into getting into a relationship right now. Besides I love to be free and single, and the romance is just not worth it for me"."Aw that's too bad but I'm glad that you don't, otherwise you and that person would have spent more time together, and I would be left out and sad".

"Don't worry spongebob, nothing can get between our friendship. That is a promise". He said hugging him."Thanks Patrick, I'm glad I have you as a good friend"."I know, come on let's go to bed I'm feeling kind of sleepy from all the games we had played"."yeah me too, here you take the couch I'll take my bed"."Alright, goodnight spongebob".

"Night Patrick". He said turning off the lights going to sleep in his soft cozy bed with Gary sleeping on the other side already asleep.

"Die human". Said a voice plunging their hand aiming towards him."Spongebob!". Suddenly spongebob opened his eyes seeing Patrick hugging him tightly, softly breaking the hug looking at him giving a small smile on his face."P-Patrick?"."Heh, Hey there". He said coughing up blood pouring down on his chin. Spongebob widen his eyes slowly looking down seeing a big hole made from his stomach with a hand inside of it."Patrick! Wh-why?"." you'll always be my best friend till the end". He said kissing his forhead pulling away."Goodbye Spongebob". He said when the person removed his hand away leaving Patrick groan in pain now falling to the ground blood pouring on the floor. His eyes losing color.
