An unhealthy obsession
Lives inside her heart
Like a parasite in host

Non-fading, unrequited
Feelings guided her
With joy, she hopped, to demise

Down the road of doom, she walked
Scars littered her skin
And bruises hidden with base

With a smile and glee in eyes
Opened her house door
Infront her love, she stood still

The source of her current state,
He looked up at her
The down his wrath came, on her

She did not make a sound but
With love she beared all
Then he left her in pained gasps

Such ugly and toxic love
Disgusting, vile-like
Alas! No remedy found
