CYNDIE

today is the day. today i marry the man i love, i don't think you know how much i love him, he is the father of our daughter, he cares about both of us, etc. and yes, i'm super nervous, who wouldn't be getting married in front of 200 plus people?

i tried to focus on not being nervous, i'm going to say i do to the man i love. yeah, still nervous.

shit.

"cyndie!" my mom yelled out to me. "hey! sorry i'm late i had to get your bro-" my mom stopped herself as she saw me in my bridal dress. "you look beautiful!" my mom flattered me.

"thank you, momma." i thanked her for the compliment. "also, where's my chubby monkey?" i called out to my 2 year old brother, he ran in giving me a hug. i picked him up and spun him around in circles, carefully. trying not to rip the dress.

"cyndie, are you ready to walk the isle?" gray, chandler's best friend asked me.

now, you may be wondering, "where's the father?", well... i hate to say it, but he died after sacrificing his life to help his coworkers during the september 11th attacks in new york. i miss him every single day, but i know deep down in my heart, that he's watching me walk the isle with my good friend.

"yeah, yeah i think i am." i smiled, "mom, can you hold alexa while we say 'i do'?" i asked my mother.

"of course." my mother smiled. i smiled back at her. "go! go! you have a wedding to get to!" she joked.

i smiled and let out my arm to attach with gray's, as we start walking, a lovely piano cover of "here comes the bride" plays, and my heart starts beating fast. i see chandler standing there with a big smile on his face.

as we finally get to chandler, gray lets me go and sits down next to my mother. i smile at both of them and take chandler's hands in mine.

"dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of chandler and cyndie in holy matrimony." the priest announced.

i then let a tear fall from my eye. god, if chandler only knew how much i love him.

"chandler, do you take cyndie to be your beloved wife?"

"i do." chandler replied.

"cyndie, do you take chandler to be your beloved husband?"

"i do." i replied.

we both let out a smile.

"you may kiss the bride."

we then confirm our marriage with a kiss. at that moment, with everybody cheering and clapping, i knew that this was gonna be forever.
