Long ago, there was a time of peace when the Avatar kept balance between the Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation and Air Nomads. But everything when my great grandfather, Firelord Sozin's hunger for power caused him to attack all the other nations.
My grandfather's greatest enemy, the Avatar, master of all four elements disappeared when the world needed him most. And without the Avatar to stop him, he continued his reign of terror until his dying breath.
Before his death, he attacked the air temples and wiped out all the airbenders to prevent the rebirth of the next Avatar. Following the attack on the Air nomads, Firelord Sozin launched a campaign to conquer the world. A hundred years have passed since then, the Avatar never appeared and the Fire Nation is nearing victory in the war. Some believe that the cycle is broken, but some haven't lost hope such as myself. I want this war to end more than anyone and hope for a time where we can all live together and peace and harmony. I still believe that, somehow, the Avatar will return to save the world.
