I was watching the clock thinking about the investigation team RWBY and team NMYF are going to do soon, However, I was also thinking about that woman I ran into. She had the same magic signature that the woman I fought in the bullhead had and It makes me wonder if she's part of the reason Roman keeps escaping his jail cell. I sigh things started off so well last semester there where no incidents in gensokyo I got to reunite with my family and now...I have to worry about some kind of corruption, the white fang are getting even more violent and I find myself having to bring in an extra team just to try and keep the corruption down and get to the bottom of it. On the bright side, tho team CRDL is no more after ozpin heard about him wanting to literary cut velvets ears off he expelled them on the spot. I smile a bit thinking about that found memory and the smile on velvets face when she learned the news. speaking of which Reisen has been getting along with all of team CFVY due to that especially velvet and Coco. hearing the bell ring I get up and walk out of the class telling the rest of my team ill meet up with them soon I just wanted to debrief team NMYF first. I sigh as i walk the halls trying to think of ideas in my head. team ARMS is going out to explore more of vale today it was my idea for them to get familiar with there surroundings however I also told both them and team NMYF to be warry of the three people I met yesterday and that one of them seems to have an illusion semblance. the three of them decided that Satori should investigate since the illusion semblance is useless on her and she can read their thoughts like reading a bookmaking her the perfect one to spy on them. however, I have to be careful I can't have them knowing were onto them or they will start being even more careful or trying to get rid of us. I sigh as I enter team NMYF,s room. "ruby!" and immdely im greeted by the smiling face of flander. "heya flan so you all know what you're doing for the investigation?" it was nitroi who answers. "Yup! youmu is going home to search there and see if somethings off  marisas going with Reimu , Flander will check things with patchy and ill try and investigate the Grimm fairys and try to fix them with the power of SCIENCE!" I chuckle a bit at there eagerness before I turn a bit more serious. "still Im sorry that the corruption on my world is spreading to yours." I say a bit somberly and marsia replays before nitroi could. "dont sweat it! your a freind of ours rubes and besides its noting new to us its just another incdent we need to slove no big deal it will be over before you know it!" Marisa says with full confidence causing me to smile again...but even with that confidence..why do I get the feeling, that not everything will be ok? I shake my head trying to get the feeling to go away but and match team NMYF,s energy...but I just can't find the will to do so...

*time skip*

"ALRIGHT TEAM! the plan for the investigation is as follows Weiss and I will go and look for files yang you go to your shady  friend blake will infiltrate a white fang meeting to figure out some of there plans!" I state in my commanding tone. "UNDERSTOOD!" the rest of team rwby responds. "but before we do anything SUN! NEPTUNE! stop acting like creepy stalkers hanging outside the window of our dorm!" I shout causing the offenders to gasp in surprise and Neptune to almost fall off before I grab him and pull him in. "sun? what are you doing here?" blake asks. "oh I tough I would help! we over herd your plan for an investigation and wanted to help out!" sun states and I sigh and fae plam lightly. "fine you can come BUT you will be on task got it?" sun nods happily as Neptune looks around with a flirty smile making me frown. "GOT IT neptune?" I say in a sickly sweet tone making him immdely snap to attention. "y-yes! crystal clear!" he responds and I nod my head. "yang Neptunes with you blake sun can help you in your infiltrasion are we all ready?" I asked and Weiss took a look at Neptune and put on a slight scowl more then likely she would have fallen for his charms before but her time with Alice changed her in ways she did not think she could and she learned to be wary of people like him. "alright then team OUT!"

*minitime skip*

I look up at the giant tower. "remember Weiss were not just looking for white fang info we need info on historical facts that may help us out." I say and Weiss nods her head without a singel rebuttal. Normally I would be in awe at the size of the tower but right now we need to get as much info as we can as fast as we can. I was about to go forward when I feel a familiar energy signature. "you go ahead weiss Iv detected penny I would like to check up on her will you be ok by your self?" Weiss looks at me and thinks for a moment. "of crouse I will just be quick we are doing an investigation after all." I nod and go over to penny. "hey penny!" I shout and she turns around with a look of surprise before she looks conflicted to either tor un away or stay but I approach her. "hey why had you left so early? you went in danger where you?" penny looks at me sligtly scared "i-i think you have the wrong person *hiccup*" I narrow my eyes. "penny...Im worryed about you...no ones forcing you to do something right?" I ask slowly I can tell what penny is but I have not let her know yet. after some mental debating with herself...penny shakes her head. "nono noting like that...lets...go somewhere else this is not a safe place to talk. "she ends up dragging me down a stare well where there's not a lot of people and I continue my questions. "I wish I could help you with the white fang but...I am afraid I don't know." I sigh it was to be expected honestly. "that's fine...but why where you pretending not to know me?" I ask carefully. considering the technology that makes pennys body I can take a guess she's from atlas and knowing atlas I can already form an answer in my head. "I...was asked not to talk to you...or anybody really but mainly not you or anyone in team NMYF." I raise an eyebrow. "why is that?" she looks at me before. "ruby...are you really a friend? can I truly trust you?" I narrow my eyes..before stopping..and giving her a hug. "I know what you are penny...I knew as soon as I met you but I never once thought anything less of you. you clearly have a soul so that means your still a person no matter what your body is made of...besides Iv meet others similar." I say making her widen her eyes before giving me a sudden hug. "thankyouthankyouthankyou!" I gasp for air a bit geez this girl could rival an oni with this streath! but nevertheless I smile. "your welcome...but..I..neec air." I replay in between breaths and releasing her mistake penny lets me go before having another confused expression. "wait..how did you know?" I think a bit. "your aura I can feel the auras of people and yours gave off a slight metallic vibe." her eyes widen. "that is an amazing ability!" she says enthusiastically . "now...why where you asked not to talk to me in particular?" I ask again and once more penny goes into a silent debate before she sighs. "Im not supposed to say this but....ironwood doesn't trust you he sees you as an unknown with abitlys he doesn't understand and so he decided that you should be treated as a possible threat." I scowl a bit. "a threat? iv been helping people..Im training to be a huntress...it sounds like he's being paranoid..." suddenly I feel something and look around and see two atlas guards spotting us. "penny we need to go we have been spotted." I say penny look and her eyes widen before she nods and then we run with me soon grabbing her. "HANG ON!" I then use my super flight to escape up onto a roof. once I put penny down she looks at me wide-eyed. "y-you can fly?" I smile and nod. "yup! not only can I fly but I can do many other things...Im like you penny Im special...but..I guess you gotta go with the guards right? don't want them being too worried about ya." I say and then she nods. "yeah...It was good to talk to your friend ruby! I hope we meet again!" and with that, she jumps down and runs over the guards and just as she leaves my scroll rings so I pick it up only to hear. "we need backup! somehow roman escaped again and got his hand on not one but FOUR PALADINS! Im trying to lead it away from citizens we need b-" "HEEEEEELLLLP!" sun shouts in the background interrupting blake I just shake my head. just our luck that somehow ironwoods new toys get stolen huh? welp, a fight agist 4 giant mechs? sounds fun time to show them a weapon that surpasses atlas gear.
