In the beginning...
I saw the world crawling up to my neck.
I saw the world taking a vicious step.
I saw the world seeing me fall.
In short... I saw it all.
Then at midnight...
Like the lone wolf, I howled at the moon.
Asking her, "When would it be my time to shine?"
And she replied, "Honey, all comes too soon."
Next chapter...
As another year passes by, I recall.
I recall my mistakes.
I recall all the smiles I faked.
I recall all the fair-weather friends I made.
And I recall how they all blew away.
I recall, I recall and I recall.
A fresh start...
Along with a new year, I wish.
I wish for forgiveness.
I wish for bliss.
I wish for trustworthiness.
And I wish for a true love's kiss.
I wish, I wish and I wish.
A new leaf...
That world which saw me fall,
now it sees me standing tall.
Now as I rise, I rise up high in the sky, telling the moon that her "soon" has arrived...
And in a soothing voice, she gave me an unpleasant reply, "Honey, you didn't win, because all you did was just SURVIVE..."
