Asylum Part 1

Julius

I was cold, shivering but it was okay I was used to it

"Come on Julius, take your meds" The doctor who's in charge of me said behind me

"I don't want that crap" I smacked

"Julius" He called

I sighed, whipped around and took the cup and water

"Do I have to?" I looked at him

"Yes"

I put the tablets in my mouth and gulped the water

Doc smiled at me and walked out my room

My room was white, no color, just plain white

My parents died in a car crash when I was 13 which led to my depression. It got so bad that I began to slip into deep sleeps

Shit sometimes I hear voices, am I crazy? I don't think so

Kill yourself

That's what the voice tells me everyday. Last time I tried to hang myself I was put into those tiny rooms and they had me strapped up

I ain't tryna go back there but what is life anyways?

No friends, school or family

I always look out the tiny window in my room to see the sky and grass

I never really go outside. I don't want to

"Julius time to eat" I turned around to face Nurse Edin

I hate her, she always forces me to eat. The food is terrible here

She placed the food on the table where I seated. I always eat alone, I ain't wanna be around the others

I heard a scream which made me look up

Payton

Shes only 9 years old and here she was in a Mental Institution

She has anger issues mixed with bipolar disorder

"I don't want to" She whined

"Payton you have to eat!" Nurse Edin shouted from across the room

Payton threw the table with her food onto the floor

I got up and walked over to her

"Pay, you have to eat" I lowly said

"I don't want to Ju" She sniffed

She folded her arms and cried

"Please" I asked

"It's nasty" she said which made me chuckle

Payton smiled

"Eat it with me Ju" She said

I nodded and brought my food over. Nurse Edin brought a fresh bowl for her

Oatmeal

"Yuck!" Payton geeked

"Yuck!" I imitated

She smiled and we both began to eat

"Okay patients it's time for doctor visits" Nurse Edin shouted

Not again, no
