Did I really deserve this life? What did I do so bad?

I wish I can go back in time

A time where I didn't exist

"Sarah" I was cut out of my writing by Kayden

Ugh I hate saying that name

"Come here" I sighed and did as told

I walked up to him and he grabbed me by the throat

"You finna pay for running away" he calmly said

"I've been paying for 15 years!" I shouted at him

"Don't fucking raise your voice at me" he threw me onto the cold floor

I winced in pain, my bones were visible

Kayden...Dre...whatever his name is kicked me in my stomach and walked away

I guess I remained on the floor for hours. I was helpless

Julius, my only hope was gone

"Somebody help me" I whispered and fell asleep

"Is Julius ever coming back?" A now 13 year old Payton asked me

I sighed but I had to tell her the truth

"I don't think so Pay"

"He really left me?" Her eyes became watery as she ran away

It's been almost 4 years since Julius vanished from the institution. 4 years of trying to figure out how and why. 4 years of no answers

Sometimes I wonder if he's alive or dead. Even though he didn't have the best attitude towards the institution he was a good kid

Payton was his only happiness

I remember his parents Heather and Tino Garcia , they were lovely. Heather was my best friend and I promised to take care of Julius if anything were to happen

But, Julius is gone

"Hey aunty I'm finna head out" Dre said to me

"Ok Dre" I replied

Dre, my nephew. Such a confusing kid. Come to think of it he hated Julius

A feeling in me grew stronger. A feeling that Julius is still alive

I turned around and followed Dre. I slipped into my car and followed behind his

The drive was an hour long

Abruptly, Dre came to a stop. I quickly parked my car far away from his

I got out and followed his trail. A huge dark building came into my sight and exactly where Dre was walking into

I waited until Dre got inside to go closer and so I did

I ran to the other side where there were windows, dark but visible. I peeked through and that's where I saw

Julius

Knocked out on the floor, lifeless

I gasped in horror

Dre did this

I quickly pulled out my phone from my pocket and dialed 911

"Hello, 911 what's your emergency?" The operator said

"Hello, I think I've found the missing 14 year old Julius Garci-"

Before I could continue I felt a sharp object to my head and blacked out

"Welcome to the Asylum Aunty"
