I was three my mother had tossed my out to the lake to drown. One of the maids had pulled me out as soon as my mother left and brought me inside with mother Christa.
"Look at what that witch did to you, you poor little thing. Subaru grab a towel and some of your clothes so she can wear." My older brother Subaru nodded his head and immediately scampered to get the stuff his mother asked for.
"There you're all cleaned up now." Mother Christa smiles she had bathed me and changed my clothes I was wearing one of Subaru's white shirts and his kid sized boxers. I was smaller than Subaru so the clothes were very baggy.
"Is little sis okay now?" Subaru asked while putting his hand on top of my head. Christa just chuckled at how adorable they were and nodded.
We were all in the tower for a while until I heard a loud ear piercing shriek. I knew it had came from my mother in a blink of an eye I was outside mother's bedroom door. She was bloodied and hurt very badly. Her red crimson eyes were full of tears.
"WHY?!!! WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME, I DO IT BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!!!! My mother yelled.
"I NEVER asked you to throw MY DAUGHTER into a LAKE!!!" I heard father's voice echoed in the room.
"IT'S ALL HER FAULT!!" She sobbed and looked towards the direction where I was standing.

"I WISH SHE WOULD HAVE DIED AT BIRTH!!! SHE COULD HAVE AT LEAST BEEN BORN A BOY!! THAT WAY YOU WOULD LOVE ME!!" She looked back to my father at the last part.
"I NEVER loved you, and NEVER would love you! I did it all for power and status! Can't you see!!" He gave out a wicked laugh, I let a small gasp escape that's when father noticed my presence.
"Ren-" I immediately disappeared into the garden where I found Ayato and I couldn't hold back my tears any longer.

"Ren?!? Are you okay?" Ayato hurries to me and embraced me in his arms. I kept sobbing onto his stomach.
"Is it your mother again? If so Ore sama will go in there and defend you." He said, I shook my head 'no'.
"Then what's wrong?" He asked again.
"D-d-daddy dozens lwuve me ors m-mommy." (Daddy doesn't love me or mommy). I cried even more as I told him. Ayato picked me up in his arms and hushed me and told me a bunch of sweet nothings to calm me down.
"REN!!! Father's voice reached my ears and I assume Ayato's as well because as soon as we heard him Ayato took both of us next to a tree by the lake.
"Mo-mommy twied kill me in that whater tis mornin she dozen lwuve me.." (Mommy tried to kill me in the lake this morning, she doesn't love me.) I stared at the lake shining due to the moon and the stars it looked so pretty.
"It's okay Ren, because I love you. I love you more than anything or anyone." He hugged me and placed a soft kiss on my head. I smiled at him but before I could say anything we heard something in the bushes in the forest. Ayato quickly got in front of me and spread his arms to the side to protect me.
"Ren!! there you are, come here. Ayato go back home to your mother." Father came forward and stood a few feet away from us. Tears started to escape my eyes again as I remembered what father had said. Ayato looked back down at me and wiped my tears away before leaving.
"Ren, come here please." Father kneeled down to try and match my height. Key word tried. I stepped closer but I couldn't help but to shiver in fear a bit and a few tears ran down my face. He lifted his hand trying to wipe the tears but I stepped back. Father let out a sigh a tried to get closer but with every step I stepped back.
"Ren stop you can get hurt." He kept getting closer.
"N-no! You dot lwuve m-me stay away!!" (No! You don't love me stay away!!) I yelled moving backwards faster until it hit me. I had no more dirt underneath my feet, the sudden cold feeling enveloped me I let out all my air hoping that would end things faster and closed my eyes shut. The heaviness of the cold water around me pushed me further in.
"Ren.....Ren!....Ren are you okay?!" My eyes fluttered open and I saw my father.
"D-daddy? Is tat you?" (Daddy is that you?) he hugged me closely.
"Yes Princess" Father kissed my forehead and I looked around and saw all my brothers along with Beatrix, Cordelia, and Christa. Mother wasn't around, does she really not like me...
