You stare into the Void...

(Sabre's POV:)
I shoot up in the bed, making Void Steve scramble backwards. He regains his composure enough to look menacing, and my hands fly up to protect my face. "S-stop!!" I shout, and he looks a bit taken aback, but still stays there, silent. Then, I realize that I'm in control. I sigh with relief. "Void, you NEED to listen." I say, and he looks at me, a bit suspicious, but listening nonetheless. I breathe out, trying to calm myself. "I don't have much time. That person that came back to you yesterday? That wasn't me. Not really." I say, my hands moving up to my Bandana. "Here, let me show you." I say, and I let my Bandana fall off my face. Void looks at me, shocked. "Nightmare Steve used a machine to merge us together, and he is now trying to destroy either your trust in me, or you. I'm not sure which, but as he made us leave his base, he had said 'This is the day Rainbow Falls', whatever that means. He has been in control this entire time, and this is the first time I've had control so far. If he wakes up right now, I'm sure it'll be the last time too." I finish, and he looks at me, ever silent. "Here, if it's me, I will say 'Null', and if it's not, well, I'll not say 'Null', I guess." I say, chuckling at myself. Void is still silent. Now I'm worried. "Void? Why are you so quiet?" I ask, and he looks at me worriedly. "Void? Void, I can't hear you!" I shout, panicking, until I suddenly hear him say my name. "Sabre-" he cuts off, and I can't hear him anymore. "W-wait! I just hear you!" I say, and he looks at me, confused. "Sabre?" He says slowly, as though he was testing if I could hear him. "Yes! I can hear you!" I say, and he looks at me dubiously. "You are aware I'm speaking in Steve, right? Not Player?" I look at him, shocked. "Am I speaking in Steve?" I ask, and he shakes him head. "No. I am, but you're not. Strange. Are you okay though?" He asks, and I nod. I suddenly feel something in the back of my mind, like a presence shifting, and I'm on high alert, which Void notices. "Void, Nightmare is waking up. I'm gonna pretend to be asleep, but you need to get out of here. Don't speak to him in Steve, either, he won't understand it, and he'll get suspicious. Now, GO!" I tell him, and he nods, disappearing. I lay back on the bed, put on the Bandana, close my eyes, and wait for Nightmare to open our eyes as I give him back control.

(Author's Note: It's been a while!! How're y'all doing? I'm doing amazing! I got some pre sketches of a few characters done! I'll make them soon, but for now I have pre sketches of Light, Dark, Shadow, Void, and Galaxy!)
