Think of all the books you've read.
How they're all a different combination of words.
Think of how they're different but all the same.
Think of how your life would change without one.
Think of all the time they deserve,
All the memories they've reserved,
And eventually, all the dust they will preserve.
Because those books have changed you.Now think of everyone in the world.
How each of us have different traits
And different dreams
And different memories
But how we're all different but all the same.
Think of how my life would change without you.
Think of all the time you deserve.
All the memories you've reserved.
All the secrets you have preserved.
Because you have changed me.We have changed each other.
Because you may read this to a best friend,
A mother,
A father,
An aunt,
An uncle,
A sister,
A brother,
A someone to you.
Someone that's changed you.
A someone to someone.
Like a book has broadened my mind,
They've broadened you heart.
They've helped you through hard times.
And if no one springs to mind right away,
Then you have me.
Because you've changed me.
Because you are me.
And I am you.
Think of all the memories we have.
And I thank you.
For showing me.
That despite all our differences,
We're all exactly the same.
