Well this was awkward Harry thought. He had come home finally. The first time he met him mum in ages, and he thought maybe they could have a nice meal and chatt about everything yet so far there was an awkward silence between them. And Harry couldn't get a few things out of his head, he couldn't believe his mum had slept with Chaos. She had been with the most powerful person in the universe. It was so strange to think about.

He wanted to ask her so many things.

How?

Why?

Where?

But none of these questions would come out of his mouth, it was like he'd suddenly become mute. All he could finally manage was a "I don't understand"

He looked up at her then glanced down at his food again, not sure if that was the right question.

His mother said hesitantly "I know this must be hard on you-"

Then that was it. Finally he could speak.

Harry's fork came down on the table with a clatter as he looked at his mother in disbelief "Hard? Hard? Is that all you can say? Why didn't you freaking tell me? All these years! I'm having to lie to my whole camp because of this! Why him? There where plenty of other normal guys out there! And plenty of normal kind of gods, why him?"

He took a breath and carried on, not looking at her, using his knife to saw into his food like he was holding a saw and his food was a tough piece of wood "The worst part is you knew! Knew all this time who he was. What I was! And you never mentioned it, or hinted at it!"

His mother said a little to calmly for Harry's liking "If I had do you think you would have belived me? Harry, darling..."

She reached out and gripped his hand from over the table "You were so young, I only wanted to protect you"

"Like how you protected us from Steve?" Harry grumbled, he knew it was a low blow, seeing her wince but he didn't say anything else, glaring at his food.

She looked at him sadly but didn't say anything.

He couldn't take it any more as he asked one of the most important questions "So? How did it happen?"

To his discomfort he saw his mother blush red then she asked "Do you want to the short version or...?"

He told her "Just tell me how it happened"

His mother nodded "Okay, okay"

Her story unfolded and all Harry could do was listern to her voice.

"I was a young women then, quite naive and vunrible. I had a view boyfriends in the past but no one really serious. This may seem strange but I didn't see him for a while. He was a stranger, a stranger in my dreams"

"His wings wrapped around me, warm and comforting. Almost every night I dreamt of him. He felt like he was watching over me, protecting me. My very own Angel"

"I told him about all my problems. Unemployed young women, fresh from University. Yet no one seemed to want me. Everywhere I went I had the door slammed in my face. In turn he told me about the gods, about all these other worlds out there"

"Then I'd wake up and it would have all been a dream yet...somehow...I had them so ofton I began truly believing that he was real, that what he was saying was real"

"When I met him for the first time, I was in clothes shop. I bumped into him. He looked like an ordinary man then, nothing special about him...Yet his face was unforgettible and the way he smiled at me, that look in his eyes, I knew, I knew it was him"

"We dated for a month then it happened and he left. He had explained to me once he saw me in real life instead of the dreams he would only be able to have a limited time with me because of the gods sensing his presence. But I was okay with that...He had been invading my dreams for a few years now, I felt like I knew him well"

"He told me about you. About the gods. About who he really was. You should of seen him then son, because then I didn't see the powerful creator of the Universe. I saw a lonly young man who loved me and wanted a son to call his own. He thought I would be afraid...But I was never afraid"

She smiled, looking of into the distance with a loving look in her eyes. Harrys mouth hung open, he didn't question or once not belive her.

He then suddenly felt proud and impressed with her. Even he had been scared of his father, his mother must of been brave not to...

And she must be the only mortal in the world who ever saw that side of Chaos...Maybe know one in history would see it again...

Harry was only half right.

There would only be one more person who ever truly see that side of Chaos ever again, while looking on without fear.
