Daddy Issues

Anger is a tricky thing,

It starts as a mild irritation,

Then leads to a maddening annoyance,

Which is a gateway towards true antipathy.

But, there's an emotion tied in with my anger.

It's bitterness.

You see, my bitterness

Is petty, and sarcastic, and slightly condescending.

Sometimes, I wonder...

Is that why he doesn't call?

Or text?

Is that why he left?

Sometimes not knowing is the worst thing.
