The captain looks at us one by one
"and you want to be Hunters? Why?"
"Hey.. what business is it of yours? You're just driving the bus" Leorio says confused
"That a fact?" The captain says with a tinge of amusement in it

Just as I was about to say something Gon butts in while raising his hand before I can even open my mouth "My dad's a Hunter and I wanna follow in his footsteps!"
"Whoa there kid! you don't have to tell that old guy nothing" Leorio says to Gon
"why its not like its a secret or anything?" Gon said confused
"Yeah! Why can't we tell the old geezer anything" I say in a mocking way, while a grin starts to form on my face
"you- did you just call me an old geezer?! Fine then, why do you wanna become a hunter you little punk?" the captain replies amused but a bit angrily.
"Why do I wanna become a hunter? I don't know" I shrug with a thinking expression
"You don't know Charlotte?" Gon says even more confused.
"Hmm I guess the reason I wanna become a hunter is to go on fun adventures!" I say rather excitedly as I start jumping up and down
"not you too" Leorio say displeased
"I agree with Rioleo" Kurapika chimes in
"Hey! its Leorio get my name right"
Leorio seems to be getting quite angry now, maybe I should tease him too.
"Calm down Oreo" Leorio seems pissed at what I said whoops.
"why yo-" before Leorio could continue, kurapika starts talking again
"One could simply dodge the question with a plausible lie but I consider lying a sin equal to greed, and as dishonourable"
"ITS LEORIO GOT THAT!!" I think he's about to blow a fuse but Kurapika doesn't even care he just continues talking while ignoring him
"yet to give an honest answer to someone I don't know.. is not, to me, a reasonable alternative the matter is simply too personal" poor Kurapika I wish I could make the pain all go away for him.
"that's yer view, eh? then both of you can just get off my ship" the captain says as he loos directly at Kurapika and Leorio
"what?" Kurapika and Leorio say both confused
"don't you two realise the hunter qualification exam has started already?" I say to them
