"Tomioka-san, I think only one person can fit on this bed" I said as he pushed me near the wall and laid down beside me

"says who?" he said as he faced me "do you... Like the haori?" he asked

"I loved it" I told him with a smile, and he smiled back

He smiled, again

"Tomioka-san" I said as I was starting to sleep

"you should smile more"

I woke up to something covering my face, a piece of paper

got called for a mission, I should be back soon

"Shinobu-sama!" I hear Kanao's voice enter the room "I brought some food" I saw her hold a tray of food and place it on the table

"good to see you're talking more now, Kanao" I told her as I sat upright and patted her head "can we go outside?"

She went out of the room first, before going I wore the haori Tomioka-san got for me then dragged along the IV drip with me outside

"that haori..." Kanao said "it's beautiful"

"thanks" I told her as we started walking to the front yard

The sky was clear and I could hear the faint noise of birds chirping. I wish it could stay like this forever

"Kanao" I said as we sat down on the grass "can you tell me what happened on the Infinity Fortress?"

"sure. Me and Inosuke decapitated the Upper Moon two, Tanjiro and Tomioka-san defeated the Upper Moon three"

"did you..." I said as I took in a deep breath "defeat Muzan?"

"it was a long and painful battle..." she said "but the other Pillars managed to stall him until sunrise. Almost everyone had at least one major injury, while they were cleaning up the debris they saw your body... Everyone was shocked, during the battle the crow announced that you were dead. While we were all surprised to see you, we were more surprised to see that no scratches were on your body... As if you didn't join the battle"

"well... That's something... Unusual?" I told her as I was a loss for words for what happened to me

"Inosuke was actually convinced that you were being impersonated by a demon" she said as she chuckled at the memory "it took him a while to realize that you were human"

"I'll be heading back to my room" I said as I started to get up from where we were sitting

"do you need some help?" she asked as she also got up from where she sat

"no need" I told her as I formed a smile on my face
