It definitely wasn't on my plans, I didn't mean this to happen. It was just one night stand, I just wanted to have some fun. Now I have to pay the price. I always wanted to be a mom, but only after getting married cause it's always better to take care of a child when you have someone to help you. But I had to get ready cause in a few months I'd have a little person that would be totally dependent on me. I held the pregnancy test on the palm of my hand in disbelief and sat on my bed.
"How do I tell Sebastian?" This was the only question going on my mind, and that made me pretty scared. I didn't know what to do. I was probably going to end up like my mom, she got pregnant of my dad and when told him, he ran away and she had to raise me alone. I started thinking that it was all Seb's fault. I asked him to wear a condom and he said "We don't have to, you're beautiful, nothing will happen, just relax and enjoy the moment". Thank you Sebastian, I really enjoyed the moment, but not anymore. I immediately grabbed my phone and called my mom cause I had to tell someone, and she was the right person.
-"Hey sweetie, what's wrong with my little girl?" my mom said with that soft voice of her. If there's one thing I love about my mom is that I can talk to her about anything in this world. She's always available to help me. I always told her I'd make things different, I would make things right. Bu I broke my promise.
-"Not so good mom, it's been hard for me lately" I said trying to not start crying.
-"Oh what happened honey, just tell me!" She said in a confused tone. I decided to be very honest and direct.
-"I'm pregnant mom" I said and for a moment, I felt my heart breaking in a thousand of little pieces.
-"Well... sweetie... Just tell me evrything, who's the father, and how did that happen?" she asked always in a calm tone.
-"It's complicated mom... well, remember that I told you about that actor I met, Sebastian?"
-"The guy from captain America? The villain?"
-"First, he's not a villain and second, yes, that one. We met on the night club, became friends, drink and then he took me to his apartment and we did everything. And now, I'm pregnant from him and I don't know what to do mom, I'm scared"
-"First, you have to tell him cause he deserves to know. That's his child and if he's a decent man, he's not going to run away like you father did, he's gonna stay around and help you to raise your kid. It's all in your hands honey, the rest of your life is in your hands. Tell him, every man deserves to know when will be a father. But remeber I'm always here for you baby"
"Thank you mom, I love you" I said hanging up the phone.
My mom always makes me feel calm when the world is falling apart. I decided to tell him, but how? How his reaction would be? There's only one way to find out. I searched for his number on my phone and called him. I was literally shaking, anxious, scared and after a few seconds he answered.
-"Hey who is it?" he asked and I felt my voice scaping from my throat.
-"Hey Sebastian it's me, from two months ago!!!"
-"Oh my God, hi angel!!! how are you i've missed you so much!!!" he said in a happy tone. Poor Sebby, barely knew what I was about to tell him.
-"I'm good, feeling confused but good" I said trying to gather courage to tell him.
-"Why are you confused" he asked and I decided to be very direct.
-"I'm pregnant. From you" I said and felt silence on the other line. "Deal with that Sebastian" I thought on my mind. I wanted to scream with him and tell this was all his fault, but I patiently waited for his reaction instead.
-"Wow, this is...wow... did you get an ultrasound?"
-"Yes, yesterday"
-"Well, I don't want you to think I'm doubting on you or anything, but my mom will push me to get a DNA test"
-"I know Seb, I'm not dumb" I said angrily
-"Hey relax girl, let's talk instead of scream to each other"
-"Sorry, it's cause you told me to relax two months ago and now here I am, pregnant".
He asked me to meet him one week later, so we could talk better. I gave him the DNA test and his mom's reaction was a big surprise to me. She got really happy cause aways thought Seb would never give her a grandchild. She gave us the best advices ever, cause she raised Seb alone, and had so much experience on kids. Seb invited me to dinner at his house so we could talk privately. After the dinner we sat in the grass next to the pool. It was such a beautiful night, the stars were shinning so bright and we could see the reflex of the full moon on the water. He held my hands and looked deep in my eyes, smoothing my face.
"Listen, I know this is not what we've planned, but we have to accept that. It's a chance for us to grow up, to get mature. I always wanted to be a father and now my dream is coming true. I know it's on the news now,on all the magazines, but I don't care. All that matters is our baby. We can do this. I'll take care of you two, don't worry" he said kissing my hand and before I could say anything, he kissed my lips passionately.
Seven months later, here I am, laying in bed while Seb puts the baby James to sleep. He has Seb's eyes and my mouth. He's so cute and loves to smile, it's my blessing, my little life. Seb picked the name for him, it was the only thing I could do for being so mean at him. Sometimes I don't know why I was so scared to tell him. He's such a loving father and the best husband in the world. I'm so lucky. He asked me to marry him on the same day I told him the sex of the baby.
"I think we make great babies" Seb says laying next to me. "I'm so lucky for having you as my wife and the mom of my baby" he says looking at his wedding ring. "I'm glad for not wearing a condom" I said stroking his hair making him laugh.
"I've never thought that one night with you could change my life so much. Thank you for making my life complete" he says kissing my lips passionately and getting on top of me. "Now, just relax and enjoy the moment" he says making me laugh.
