''Twas the night before Christmas,
When all through Stark Tower
Not an Avenger was stirring,
Not even the Spider.

The weapons were hung,
Up by the door.
In hopes that Santa,
Had forgotten the war.

The Avengers were nestled,
All snug in their beds.
While Vision had a charger,
Plugged into his head.

Thor with his hammer,
And Cap with his shield
Kept having dreams of their,
'Worthiness' on the battle field.

When out on the roof,
There was a big clatter.
The Avengers sprang from their beds,
To see what was the matter.

Tony, away to the door,
He flew like a flash.
Natasha tore open the curtains,
And threw up the sash.

The full moon shining,
On the city below.
Gave a bright light,
To the sky show.

When what to their wondering,
Eyes should appear
But a huge sleigh,
With eight strong reindeer.

With a fat old driver,
Sipping on a Fanta.
They knew in a moment,
That it must be Santa.

Cuter than Groot,
The reindeer they came.
And he whistled and shouted,
And called them by name:

"Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer!
Now, Prancer and Vixen,
On Comet! On Cupid!
On Donder and Blitzen!
To the top of Stark Tower!
To the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away!
Dash away all!"

So up to the rooftop,
The reindeer they flew.
With a sleigh full of goodies,
And of course Santa Clause too.

And then in a 'snap',
They heard on the roof
The prancing and pawing,
Of each hard hoof.

As they ran to the lounge room,
Looking around.
Down the chimney came Santa,
With almost no sound.

A bundle of new gadgets,
He looked in his sack
Like Clint looking at the arrows,
He kept on his back.

His eyes, just like Bucky's!
His dimples, how merry!
His cheeks were like roses,
His nose like a cherry!

His chubby little mouth,
Drawn up in a smile.
And the beard on his chin,
Had food which was vile.

The butt of a ciggy held in his teeth,
That was terrible for is health.
Though like Black Panther,
He had really good stealth.

He had a broad face,
And a round little belly.
That reminded Bruce Banner,
Of a bowl full of jelly.

He was chubby and plump,
A right jolly old elf.
And Antman laughed when he saw him,
In spite of himself.

A wink of his eye,
And a nod of his head.
Let them know he was nothing like Thanos,
They had nothing to dread.

He spoke not a word,
But went straight to his work.
And gave presents to them all,
Even Loki the jerk.

And laying his finger,
On top of his nose.
Giving a nod,
Up the chimney he rose.

He sprang to his sleigh,
He hopped in like a frog.
And away they all flew,
Into the fog.

But the Avengers heard him exclaim,
As he drove out of sight:
"Merry Christmas to all,
And to all a good night!"
