Jack's POV
There we were again. The Max Brenner chocolate restaurant I once ate with Tooth at.  I honestly don't even remember what came over me that day. The day I stood up to Pitch Black for Tooth. The next thing you know I'm eating churros with the girl.

Tooth bit onto her spoon. The last piece of the chocolate fondue for two.

"Wanna split the bill?" Tooth asked.

"No. It's fine. It's on me," I said.

"You sure?" Tooth asked. What ever happened to fighting to pay?

I nodded.

"No.  I'LL PAY!"  Someone pulled out a third chair and sat right in between us.

"Bunny?"

Where the hell did the guy keep popping up from? Almost a year out of high school and he's still popping up everywhere. Did this guy keep rabbit holes all over town?

"BABE!" He gestures toward the entry, "look who we have here!" Bunny screams halfway across the room.

Babe?

A blonde makes her way over and stands right next to Bunny, her hands cupped together.

Tooth and I exchanged glances.

"This is my girlfriend Kirsty Marie," Bunny looked back at Tooth and I.

After a moment of digesting the news. I was no longer surprised. Out of all people these two would eventually get together and continue to haunt me ... I mean Tooth and I almost a year out of high school. What were best friends for?

"We've met," I said.

"That's great! Happy for you's," Tooth gave both Bunny and Kirsty a hug.

"So. Are you actually paying for them," said Kirsty.

In the end I paid. I actually thought Bunny would do the honour, but the damn guy just had to make promises he couldn't keep.

Tooth's POV
After Bunny and Kirsty left off to shop for their 1st year anniversary present (which happened to be a bunny rabbit) Jack was about to drive me home. That's when I realised I left my mothers shopping bag way back at the chocolate place. How could I forget?!

"Jack. I forgot something," I said. I ran back to Max Brenner. It was 5 pm. I scanned where we we were last seated. Nothing. Great. That bag had $100 worth of food and goodies in it.

I asked the checkout if they had seen any blue rectangular handbag left behind. It had a humming bird imprinted on one corner.

"No. Sorry," said the lady. Great. Now my mom's going to kill me. That's when I saw someone leave the store with the exact bag I had been trying to describe. A rectangular blue bag with a humming bird imprinted on the middle left corner.

I ran after the suspect.

"Excuse me!"

He or she wouldn't stop walking away. Should I run after them or what? That's until Jack pulled an idiotic move.

"Hey. That's my girlfriends bag," Jack demanded.

Oh my god. They were pulling the bag back and forth. I was scared it would break. I caught up and pulled off the culprits mask.

During the past hour the unspeakable had happened. Behind that mask was Kirsty Marie. It didn't take long for her to open up. We discovered she had been kicked out of her parents home and living with Bunny for half a year now. And for a living, from time to time she would pick pocket people. Probably even steal from stores. It made me question whether she was with Bunny for love, or housing and money.
