imange you had passed away a few months back and thor was having a difficult time.
after you passed away thor wasn't 'worthy' anymore, or at least wasn't feeling worthy. he was down all the time, hiding away in the avenger headquarters, wasn't talking to anyone, and eating his feelings away.
"common thor, we need you. people are depending on us to save the day. please unlock the door," steve told him while knocking on his door. the door opened slowly revealing a sad-looking thor. "okay," thor says with a sigh. steve gives him a big smile.
on the battlefield, thor was unsure if he still can summon his Mjolnir. once he put up his hand he knew he still had it in him. his Mjolnir came to him in seconds.
"this was for y/n," steve says after they won the fight. thor smiles and looks up towards the sky, knowing you'll always be there right beside him.
