The first day of preschool.
I cried.
The teacher practically had to peel me off of my mother. I was terrified. And when the door closed behind her, it only got worse. I was sobbing so much, that the teacher made me sit in the back row with the "bad kids". You just happened to be one of them.
The other kids were so annoyed by my loud sobs that nobody would talk to me for the rest of the day. Then, you did.
'Hey, crybaby!' You shouted.
I sniffed and glared at you. 'What do you want?"
'I wanted to know why you're crying?'
I still remember your baby voice. You've always been the "bad kid". Even in preschool.
'I miss my mommy, And I have no friends!'
'Well don't cry!'
You then hugged me, making me instantly feel better.
'C-can we be friends?' I sniffed.
'Of course we can! I wouldn't just hug a random crying kid silly.'
You smiled at me, and I smiled back. We spent the rest of the day together, And I found out you had just moved into the apartment next to mine. And It was at that moment i realized we'd be friends forever.
