Unexpected

The rain suddenly poured without warning. Water droplets fell from the silvery-white sky like bullets released all at once from guns and rifles. Each droplet fell heavily on the coarse surface of the quadrangle, on the roof of the school’s building or on umbrellas. A moment later, the sky showed of its ‘touch’ of electricity, lining the sky with a single streak of violet. For a few minutes, this happened. It’s like there was a war-one side was the sky and the other (the enemy) was unknown. As if the ‘war’ was ending, the sky cleared up a bit, slowly returning to its former state. Seconds later the sky was silent and all the noises from the building returned.
