It's been about a month and a half since my mom's forgot about me I thought they would have remembered by now but I guess they're having more fun with spinel then they ever did with me I laid on my bed and cried is it because i'm defective I can't shape shift or have a breathing tube because I have stupid organs like humans do the gems were at little homeschool teaching so I was home alone i go back to school tomorrow I got out of bed and grabbed some cereal and poured it in a bowl with milk and sat on the couch maybe it's better that i'm not with them did they ever really love me anyway Spinel is so much better than I am so I understand why they left me I laid down for hours barely moving the door opened "iris are you all right?" Garnet asked she was done classes early today I sat up "yeah.... yeah i'm okay" "you don't look okay" "yeah you're right i'm not" she sat down "wanna talk about it?" "I think you already know why i'm not okay" "I know but it helps to talk about it" "well I don't want to" "oh hey your friend Lana called she said she want's you and your friends to meet someone new will you go?" "Yeah all right" I got dressed "where'd she say she wanted to meet?" "The coffee shop" "Kay thanks see you later" I went out the door and headed for the coffee shop I went inside and saw my friends and a new guy who was sitting next to Lana I sat down "okay now that you're all here I can finally tell you" she held the new guys hand "this is my boyfriend chad" she smiled and there goes my last bit of happiness "that's wonderful!" "I'm so happy for you" I faked a smile "why don't we get some drinks?" She said we ordered some drinks I had a large coffee with two cream i took a few sips Lana kept talking about Chad so I got up and left the cafe but Mari came after me "hey what's wrong you still haven't told me" "Mari i'm fine i've told you that before" "I know but I would like to know so that I can make you feel better" "okay i'll tell you" we sat on a bench I took a deep breath "so my parents left me on earth for spinel and they forgot about me for a month and they still haven't remembered me" she held my hand "is there anything else?" She asked "it's stupid but yes" "what is it I won't laugh I promise" I sighed "I had a crush on Lana since sixth grade" "o-oh" "you're not going to laugh?" "No of course not in fact you're not the only one that had a crush since sixth grade a-actually longer than that" I looked at her "you liked Lana too?" "W-w-what no!" "then who" she looked away "i'll t-tell you later!" She got up I did as well "why don't we have a sleep over at my house Aliya and Chloe as well?" I asked she hesitated "Yeah i'll get some things from the bakery or i'll make them my self and i'll bring them tonight" I smiled "thanks Mari be there by perhaps four so we can all have dinner together?" "Yes I will do that i'll See you later" I smiled and hugged her "thanks for listening" "y-you're welcome" she walked away I texted Chloe and Aliya they both said yes I got home "hey guys is it okay if I have like three of my friends over for a sleepover at four?" "Yes yes of course you can!" Garnet and pearl said instantaneously "thanks" I went up to my room and took out my bun letting my hair fall down i smiled at myself but it faded once I saw Azula beside me "the hell do you want!" "They left you too huh" "what do you mean" "they forgot me on one of their old colonies for a month" I sat down on my bed "I guess they really are bad at parenting if they drove pink away and forgot about you and me for currently longer than a month" "you see why I tried killing them" "yes but I still won't do that cuz i try to be a decent person" "hmm you really are defective" "Yeah I know I still hate this breathing tube at which it was your fault!" "I know" "are you like a ghost or something?" "No i'm not I am sleeping and when I sleep I can go where ever I want" "are you gonna be here when my friends come over?" "Probably anyways bye" she disappeared maybe she isn't so bad after all I guess my parents really are monsters who don't care about their children/aunt pink would I go down the same path as my sister I don't know I laid in my bed until about four when garner called me "iris your friends are here!" "Coming!" I ran down stairs "hey guys! I'm so glad you could make it!" "Wouldn't miss it for the world" I smiled happily "dinner should be ready in an hour or so" pearl said "thanks" we went to my room and sat down on the bean bags and talked for a bit "so what was up at the cafe earlier?" Chloe asked "oh I just had a crush on Lana that's all" "oh well there are many other people out there" she hugged Mari with her elbow Mari blushed "hey quit it!" She laughed "hey we should play some video games until supper" "yeah bet Mari will beat all of us again" we played a few games before we went down stairs to eat we sat at the table steven joined dinner was fettuccine pasta with Alfredo sauce and shrimp yummy

After supper we played on the Nintendo 3Ds we all had one so we played Mario party I beat them all three rounds when it was time for bed Chloe and Aliya were on blow up matrices where Mari and I were in my bed we watched a few movies with popcorn I fell asleep but when I woke up Mari was holding my hand in her sleep I blushed "do I like Mari like that?" I thought "no she's just a friend I think"
