I close my eyes 
And force them open
To wait for you
For something new
For a sign of life
A sign of hope
But I'm met with nothing
But the feelings I fail to grope 
So I close my eyes again
In wait for the time to come
When I don't have to wait anymore
When I don't feel so numb
And you finally let your feelings succumb
