"Did you find out what the big issue was?" Kirstin asked Avi as they walked down the hallway of the hotel looking for their rooms, Scott and Mitch trailed behind.
     "No," he answered simply.
"It was probably a rooms issue," Mitch piped up. "Not enough of them, so that's why we're sharing," he nudged Scott with a wink.
"Sorry, what?" Scott laughed but he was serious. "When you guys said two rooms I was under the impression that meant Kirstin and I were sharing, not you and me," he looked at Mitch with an expression half of annoyance, half of disgust. "You bring us on this free trip, but it's not really free, you expect sex as payment."
Mitch went to speak but Avi cut him off before he got a single word of affirmation out.
"No, that's not it, we don't expect anything, Mitch is being an idiot. You two are sharing and he and I are sharing, sorry about the confusion," Avi handed Scott the keys to their room.
     "Damn," Kirstie pouted.
Avi and Mitch turned to her, eyebrows risen while Scott discreetly pinched her.
     "Ow!" She complained.
"Shush. Thank you for the apology, I forgive you," he took the key and rushed himself and Kirstie into their room.
"I don't fucking trust her," Mitch said the second the door shut.
"I'm sure we just misread that," Avi replied, unlocking their own door.
"I don't think so. And I'm not sharing a bed with you by the way," Mitch sassed as they saw the one and only bed.
"Dibs," Avi dived on it before Mitch could.
"Fuck you!" Mitch screamed and jumped at the bed too, only he connected with Avi's feet that sent him flying back into a chest of draws.
Dazed for only a second Mitch was back up and lunged at Avi who rolled away so Mitch went face first into the bed. Avi sat on his knees on Mitch's back and Mitch yelped, but he started to scream when Avi pulled his arm up behind.
"This is called a dis-arm-her," he really emphasised the third syllable, "It's a woman's wrestling move you big fucking chicken!" Avi inched Mitch's arm back just a little more.
"Mitch's legs thrashed around and with his other hand he whacked Avi wherever he could, all while not shutting up.
"Tap out!" Avi yelled over him, "Tap Out!"
     "No!" Mitch screamed.
"What the actual fuck is going on?" Scott asked from the doorway. Kirstie peered around his shoulder.
"Uh," Avi didn't know what to say, he let Mitch's arm fall to the bed.
Mitch took his opportunity and shoved his elbow right up.
Avi very slowly fell from the bed, clutching himself, a small high pitched whine coming from him.
A smirk appeared on Mitch's face as he sat up, "I win."
Kirstie pushed past Scott, "A low blow is an instant disqualification," she pointed at Mitch then Avi as she spoke.
     "If you're caught," Scott added.
"And he was," Kirstie folded her arms.
"So Avi wins," Scott took his turn to smirk.
     "Ha," Avi let out weakly.
"It was extreme rules, anything goes, falls count anywhere," Mitch folded his arms defiantly.
"Why don't you just make a last man standing cage match while you're at it," Scott rolled his eyes.
"You took it too far Mitch," Kirstin knelt beside Avi and helped him sit up, she rubbed his back soothingly.
"Holy shit you two are no fucking fun," Mitch stormed from the room, shoving past Scott.
"Is he always this over-dramatic?" Scott asked Avi.
     Avi nodded.
"How do you put up with him?" The blonde questioned.
     Avi shrugged, "He's my brother."
"Step-brother though right?" Scott's face was a little scrunched up.
"A brother is a brother no matter the other word."
"But you don't seem to like your actual brother that much," Kirstie played with the ends of Avi's curls.
"I still love him though, he's my brother. But I love Esther most, and that's why I don't want to let her down. She already thinks I'm a screw-up but I'm gonna change her mind. The first step in that was finding you guys, so thank you," his warm smile fell on each of them in turn.
Kirstie's eyes locked with Scott's in a look that said everything. They were going to be good and classy and behave, they were going to be kind and be everything Avi needed them to be, and most importantly not themselves.
Scott gave Kirstie a single subtle nod in recognition.

A/N: Kirstie and Scott have resolved to be good once more, how long will it last?
