"FRIDAY, lock down the Compound and alert the team! Code Green! Rendezvous in the lobby," Tony yelled frantically to the AI as the Hulk smashed his way out of the lab. It was good they had been in their private labs away from the R&D floors. It would have been a lot more difficult to contain the Hulk if he had not been on one of the Avenger's floors.

"The team has been notified," FRIDAY responded, immediately beginning her creator's command following the protocols he had in place for instances such as this.

The lights dimmed, and multiple reinforced barriers slid down from the ceiling to cover doors and block rooms containing sensitive data and equipment. The section of the Compound belonging to the Avengers was completely locked down within two minutes, while the front section dedicated to SI and SHIELD remained partially open. This allowed civilian workers to escape through the lobby while containing whatever anomaly or threat they were currently facing. SHIELD agents would normally assist the Avengers in the case of a breach or attack, but there was nothing they could do against the Hulk.

Rhodey jogged up to the billionaire as soon as he appeared in the lobby, his lips set in a thin line. "The workers are evacuating, they're gathering out front." He paused before asking, "What happened?"

The mechanic took a deep breath to steady his racing heartbeat. Any time Bruce hulked out it set his nerves on fire. "I was talking to Bruce, he got angry, and he hulked out."

"The team is here, but I don't know how we're gonna calm Banner down."

"I'm not sure. We cou-"

"Stark!"

Both men turned to see a panicking Black Widow. Natasha never, ever panicked. Not unless Peter was involved. A thought that hit Tony like a truck.

"Peter isn't with us. Where's Peter?" She grabbed Tony's shoulders and spun him around, so they were face to face. He was surprised to see tears brimming in her beautiful green eyes that shined like emeralds. "We were in the gym, training. After a while, he went up to his room. But I- I couldn't find him on my way here. I thought he was with you!"

Tony's heart pounded in his ears like gongs, dampening the blaring alarms going off. He could not lose Peter; that precious sweet boy was his reason to live. His beloved son.

The Hulk was unpredictable, and there was no guarantee of being able to calm him in this enraged state. But Peter was smart. He knew how to respond to his spider-sense and had even beaten the Hulk in battle on several occasions. Tony just had to trust that Peter could keep himself alive until they figured out how to salvage this crazy situation.

Stealing himself, Tony addressed FRIDAY, his voice quivering despite his best efforts to keep it steady. "FRIDAY, where's Peter now?" The lobby was now completely empty save for the Avengers.

"Peter is currently on the lower common room floor. He is aware of the situation." The AI seemed surprisingly lax despite the situation and while she was programmed to aid in pretty much any situation, Tony had altered her so she could understand the need for urgency whenever it was warranted. The little spiderling was one of her favorite people, and her voice would take on an a more urgent tone if he was ever in danger. That was undetected here.

"Where's Banner?" Steve asked, placing a reassuring hand on Tony's shaking shoulder.

"Dr. Banner is currently on the lower common room floor," came the AI's response.

The heroes simultaneously cried, "What!" and bolted back towards their private elevator that would take them to the Avengers' floors. While they normally avoided using elevators in the case of an emergency, Tony specially rigged this one so it was sad to use during attacks or certain emergencies. If enemies broke in and their only escape was to use the elevator, then it needed to be functioning at all times.
