Survivor's Trauma

Frieda felt herself shiver as a chill filled the room, she looked around and couldn't find anyone or anything; where was she? Her head ached in pain as she tried to think.

Frieda, you've been a bad girl, you hurt so many people, you caused so many people pain, don't you agree?

No Frieda whispered her voice silent, the voice speaking to her sounded familiar.... no corruption point was messing with her head, it was trying to make her fall farther in; she hadn't hurt anyone, she hadn't!

So desperate to prove yourself innocent for something you are clearly guilty for. You're poor students, how will the tell the tale of when there own teacher attacked them.

No Frieda called out in desperation, stop it, leave me alone!

I told you Frieda that you would've been better off with me, it would have been safer if you stayed with me forever; then you wouldn't have hurt anyone, then you wouldn't be able to do any harm. Yet you left me, didn't you, and now look at what has happened the owner of the voice said as they stepped forward, my dear Frieda, Rose said, I told you not to leave me.

Frieda looked at her mother and remembered where she was, she was in Oblivion; for all the damage that she did.

Oh my darling now you remember I see, look at me darling Rose said I'll help you, I'll help you. But first you know what you must do?

Frieda looked at her mother in confusion, no mother she whispered in shame, please I just want to be good enough. I never seem to be good enough.

Shh it's okay, I will help you Rose said, what's your name?

Suddenly Frieda remembered, my name is monster she said slowly, I hurt and destroy everything that I touch, but I want to change; I don't want to hurt anymore. So I'll stay here forever until I'm able to face a person and not hurt them, I am a monster.

Good girl Rose aid smiling at her daughter as she handed her the dagger, you know what to do.

Frieda brought the dagger to her skin; you're only human we all make mistakes, she froze and let the dagger cut her and the blood drip down from her hand, get up Frieda, she began to cut the word, letter by letter until it spelt out monster, wake up Frieda! The pain rushed through her and the voice scared her, and she dropped the dagger and it fell to the floor. Tears began to roll down her face I may be a monster but I'm also only human she said as her vision because less and less clear.

Frieda woke up in the Alfea infirmary and leaped forward coughing. Ace ran to her side and began to heal her while Lillian grabbed her hand and assured her that whatever she just experienced was just a dream, Lillian repeatedly said this while waiting for Frieda to calm down.

I don't want to go back there Frieda said out loud what she meant to keep to herself; why, why would it send me back there.

Ace and Lillian froze in realization to where Frieda had been in her dreams. It's okay Frieda I promise I'm never going to let them send you to that place again Ace whispered to her. Ogron left a little while ago to make sure everything was ready for you, you fell asleep not long after, corruption point left a toll on you. If you're still tired I can get you a dreamless sleep potion.

What happened to Sasha and Kim, Frieda asked loudly cutting him off, are they alright?

They were badly hurt Ace said quietly, they're okay now, making progress; you know they keep asking about you and for you.

Why, Frieda said I hurt them, how can they still care about me when I've made so much damage and mistakes that can't be undone. Especially for them, how can they still look up to me?
