Chatper two

Alex POV: walking to school was kind of embarrassing when a lot of people in your grade got cars . Megan got a Jeep for her birthday. But my family said they don't think I'm ready to drive but I think they just ain't ready for me on the road because of all the potential things that could happen.

I meet up with my two friends Alice and Mercedes
. They are great people they helped me cope with the Megan situation a little bit. They make high school bearable.
Alice:

Alice : hey Alex

Mercedes: was sup Alex

Hey , how was y'all summer

Alice: it was good we went to stay with my grandpa in Arkansas

Mercedes: I went to stay with my aunt that lives in California. What about you Alex.

Mine was boring I just stayed in town like usual

Alice: can you believe it we are finally juniors

Yea it's exciting

Alice : you sounding real dull Alex

I mean you know ain't nothing gonna change we still gonna be looked at as the bottom of the pyramid. Those popular people and jocks are up there . While we at the very bottom with the nerds

Mercedes: you are right Alex but I rather be at the bottom with people I trust then be at the top with fake people .

Alice: do y'all wanna maybe have a movie night tonight. I'll provide everything.

That sounds good but I got to babysit tonight. My mom and dad are having their date night tonight.

Alice: dang that sucks

I mean you can come over when they leave . I know
Noah and blessing would not pass on the opportunity to stay up a little late.

Mercedes: ok I'm down

Alice: Me to

Mercedes: but did y'all see the queen bee whipping in a new Jeep. That thing is clean

Mercedes: Just alright man you tripping

Alice : Mercedes shut up

***We finally make it to school. West crest high school the place that had good memories but most were bad . We are in the courtyard the hangout before the first bell rings . Everyone was checking out each other rides and finding they friends. Then all of a sudden Megan pull up in her Jeep with her little posse. Her new friends are London and Moe .London and I don't got a problem with each other cause I helped her pass math sophomore year  and she said my payment was that she wasn't gonna treat me like the other nerds. I know right fair trade 🤦🏽‍♀️. Her other friend Moe hate me . She is co captain of the cheerleading squad . I feel like Moe is a fake friend to Megan. I know she is mad that Megan got the captain spot so she keeps her close to see if she messes up so she can get her spot .You ask why she hates me got no clue . She probably the reason Megan start acting differently towards me
London:

Moe:

**Moe  bumps into me hard.
Moe : move out the way nerd

Alice : that was really unnecessary.

Moe : So she was in my way

***I feel like someone is burning their eyes in my skull .I look up in all her glory Megan is staring at me. Could she feel guilty?

Moe : right Megan wasn't she.... MEGAN

Megan : yea you right you should know to stay out of our way

Yea yea Megan we get it we will steer clear.
****First bell rings 🔔
Me and my friends had spilt up I was on my way to my locker when Megan's sister jaaden approach me
Jaaden:

Jaaden: hey Alex I heard about what happened in the courtyard.You ok?

Yes I'm ok I'll survive. Why wasn't you riding with her

Jaaden : Megan had said she needed to pull up with her squad on the first day I can ride tomorrow. I just walked .But can I walk with you when school end I got to talk to.

Alright jaaden

Jaaden : I need to go get to class I'll meet you in the courtyard after school bye

** I don't know what jaaden got to tell me but I got a feeling it's about Megan

Ugh I'm be late at least it's the first day .
