All must have read about the Nirbhaya case! Finally they are getting hanged but they roamed freely for 7 years when a mother and father cried each day for the lose of their daughter.
Let it be anywhere in this world, "come before sunset", "don't travel alone", "wear long dress", "don't talk to stranger men", "society will always blame girls" are the words that I heard while growing up. Like really? When a boy can roam around anywhere at any time but if a girl does it, she is called a slut...whore..?

If a man stare at the thigh like a creep, it is the fault of the girl. "She wore a shorts so men will stare" that's the explanation for such a hypocrite act. "You are a girl and you have limitations and girls from good family will follow it", "what are you going to do with great marks? Eventually you will get married" that's what society keeps telling and i thank god that my parents are not giving much heed to it.

My skin-tone is brown and I'm proud of it! "Drink less chai", "if you keep drinking coffee then you will become more darker", "use turmeric paste once in a while". Can anyone keep going without any caffeine?! Well i can't because I'm a coffee and chai addict. The freshly brewed coffee by mom is heaven and i can't trade that for anything.
"You need to learn cooking, how will you survive with your in-laws? ". I only know to eat and cook dishes for survival and if i wanted to cook to please others then I would have started a hotel.
"Don't you wear ornaments?", "Getting a Pierce make you look more like a girl", "don't you wear anything else than t-shirt and jeans?", "Don't wear short dresses!" . What is the problem of people if I wear anything that I like.
"Log kya kahenge?!" Most hated sentence. "Bhaad mein jaaye log". I'm not living off them then what's their problem
