Action.

Your personal favourite word, just as well considering it was the main genre which you specialised in. It was even better when it was being called by a director. There was nothing more thrilling really, because when you stepped into that spotlight and took centre stage you could become whoever you wanted, do whatever you wanted. Sometimes you were a superhero, others you  were the bad guy revealed towards the ending that everyone in the audience loved to hate, most recently however you were former secret agent turned infamous bounty hunter Lucy Grey.

While being a hero was definitely awesome, you loved playing the antagonist so much more and being Lucy Grey was one of your favourite roles so far. Better known by her alias Lucifer, Lucy made her way through life by using the skills she learnt as a secret agent to hunt down murderers, kidnappers and the like and take them out. A vigilante and killer, Lucy Grey was something else, and you weren't looking forward to wrapping up the show at the end of its seventh season though it was unfortunately inevitable.

"Now, at the end of the last scene, you shot down at Joshua."

"Right," you nodded at your director, unable to help the side long glance you gave your boyfriend and co-star standing beside you. You'd been dating your fellow movie star for close to three years, having first met at a charity event where you'd quickly hit it off, though you had no idea he'd be your co-star for the hit tv-series until you saw him on set on the first day of filming.

Joshua wasn't looking to rolling up filming either, though his reasons were completely different to your own.

"But I missed, so now I need to get out of there."

"Exactly," he snapped his fingers and spun around to face the set where you'd soon be stepping onto. "Your going to curse up a storm, ditch the gun, and jump across the two buildings."

"Sweet," you grinned, bouncing up and down on your heels with barely restrained excitement. Joshua had different ideas.

"Are you sure this is safe?" He intervened, a concerned frown on his face as he spoke, and you tried to beat back a sigh. It was a topic he'd brought up with you several times since the script for the episode had been released to the cast. One of the things that made you so successful was the fact that you did all of your own stunts, which also meant that you didn't need a stunt double, it also was one of the big factors contributing to Joshua's stress levels.

"It'll be fine Joshua," the director swore. "She's practiced the jump on floor level and she's done it from a metre up, aced it every single time. We'll do another test to make sure and then run it through slowly a couple times before we even think about filming. Sound good?"

Joshua didn't still didn't look entirely convinced. You reached out and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze, smiling at him promisingly.

"I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't one hundred percent certain," you promised him. "I've done crazier, yeah? I'm going to be fine."

"Okay okay," he huffed, pulling his hand away, though he lingered for a moment, before pulling his hand away from yours and crossing his arms across his chest. "Can we just get this over with already?"

"Sure thing," your director grinned.

You went over to the practice set where you'd be taking a few test leaps before going and doing the real thing. You tried to get a hold on your enthusiasm, though you had very little luck in doing so and found yourself shifting your wait from foot to foot. It was definitely safer to have a stunt double do these kinds of things for you, but like anything you did you preferred to do it yourself, though letting someone else do risk taking for you would absolutely reduce the amount of paperwork you had to handle when taking on a new film contract. Still, you had an addiction to the rush you got when doing something wild like riding a motorcycle up the staircase of a high end club, or jumping over an escalator to tackle someone, things you wouldn't be able to do and/or get away with in your every day life.
