A goddamn mistake,
A goddamn mistake that love for you have to fake,
Toil and tire for it's sake.
A goddamn mistake,
All it does is take
What woe to you to have to love a goddamn mistake?
A reminder of a love you never had.
If only you could,
in time go back,
Instead you're with mistake stuck.
Distance and denial are your coping philosophy,
Years later and I'm finally able to explain our relationship's atrophy.
All the Hurt and it's never your fault,
Whoever takes issue can simply vault.
Soon maybe even sooner the the goddamn mistake will bolt.
