Can I ever unscath your wounded heart
'n sooth what's left as an endearing scar
that thirsted for a home, to be a part
of an enduring love 'midst a silent war? But, love, I came not to tear down a wall,
to leave footprints on the sand where you wept
and while I am drunk in fear, doubt and all,
I yearn to be stronger so I can be keptwithin your embrace where I feel belong,
where I find euphoria 'n sorrowful bliss—
Can we still dance to our beloved song
while time chase us as we forever kiss?'n if you fear to see my shadow fade,
i will lock the doors and be your shade.
