Chapter 34: To heal

Draco's P.O.V

I wasn't upset, was what I kept telling myself. It's normal for her to feel like this, we have only been dating for two months, only lived together for most of the year. No big deal.

But in my heart I knew it was a big deal to me. The fact that she didn't have faith that we would last upset me more than it should've. But now that she's standing behind me with her saddened tone and beautiful face, I couldn't find it in myself to blame her.

"I just...Draco are you mad at me?" She whispered and I spun in my chair.

"Is that what you think?"

Silence.

Sighing, I walked up to her and wrapped on arm around her slender yet fit waist, the other cupping her cheek.

"I can't be mad at you. I'm just, a little disappointed I guess. Do you not believe in us?" I asked and she grimaced.

"It's not that, and it not you either, I just can't help but wonder, where to from now? After gradation, most couples split up, go their own ways, separate, what if that happens to us? What do I do then?"

"I'm not letting you go. I love you and you know that" she nodded.

"So why think what will happen in the future? Come on, we only get one shot at life, one chance, why waste your thoughts thinking of what is going to happen to you, and instead focus on what is happening to you"

"I know but like, what if we break up, and you get married and have a wife and it's not me?" She asked and my heart clenched at the thought of leaving her.

"Well then you should know that I'll always love you" I responded and she frowned.

"Don't tell me that, tell your future wife"

"I just did"

Silence.

And then she literally tackled me to the ground in hug, kissing me tenderly. I wrapped my arms around her, protecting her body as we fell so she doesn't get hurt.

"You are the most amazing person ever. I love you" she said and I pecked her nose.

"Love you too"

We just sat there for a while, panting heavily as we rested our foreheads against each other.

"Next time you're going to declare your love for me, don't tackle me like that" i whispered.

"No promises" she said and I grinned, kissing her again. We continued kissing until we were both out of breath.

"Wanna skip the dumb dance and watch a movie?" I said, gesturing to the laptop.

She grinned right back at me. We jumped into the bed, got under the covers and started the movie. I sat there with her, observing it and her expressions. I watched her beautiful smile and bubbly laugh and realised, she's the one. I'm going to marry her. One day.

Sometime during the movie, I plopped her between my legs and she lay there with my hands on her waist and my head on hers.

"Hey Mione can I ask you something?" I whispered. No response.

I looked over to see her sleeping peacefully in my arms. I sighed, chuckling a little at the sight. Taking a quick picture, I attempted to move her without waking her up. Coming to the conclusion that that is impossible, i lay there, her sleeping in my arms and I myself faded off into nirvana.

"Hay man" A guy said for the hundredth time that night, stumbling as he walked.

"Do I knows you?" I asked in drunken confusion.

"I don't fink sho" man said again.

"Looooool" I screamed and he laughed.

"HEY! I see you making moves. I'm straight, I don't like big boy. I have a hurlfriend"

"Me too! I also have one! Her names starts with D I fink" he said and i grinned.

"Really? Mine's starts with...6?"

"Oh oh oh!!!! Noice, toit"

"I go...now!" I announced loudly before stumbling out of the bar.

Somehow even in my extremely drunken state, I manage to make it to the dorm. I don't know how, and I don't intend to find out.

"Hay my sugar muffin" I said in a high pitched girly voice as I saw My Hurlfriend.

"Draco? How drunk are you?"

"July" I yelled and she chuckled.

"Come on buddy, let's get you to bed before you pass out on me"

"Nooooo. I don't want to sleeeeep" I whined.

"Oh my god I feel like I'm dealing with a child" girl said, slapping her forehead.

"You look pretty" I said randomly and she raised an eyebrow.

"No not pretty, what's more pretty? Like Pansy, yeah your pretty like Pansy. Pansy is hot"

She froze.

"No actually, you gotta meet this girl, she's prettier than anyone I've ever seen. She's in my class I fink. She is beautiful, have you seen her? Can you introduce me?" I asked again as a certain brunette made an appearance in my head. Wait, girl in front of me looks like brunette.

"Oh my god, it's you, thanks for introducing me" I said, turning to thank other lady.

"Hurlfriend left, oh no" I panicked.

"Oh there you are hurlfriend, where did you're pretty freind go? Oh there you are!" I exclaimed, pointing to the girl in front of me and brunette cracked up laughing.

"You make no sense and sound like your 5, lets get you to bed" she said and i hardened.

"What do you want to do in bed?" I asked, pulling her close and twirling a piece of her hair in my finger.

"That's not what I meant!" She huffed as I started taking small steps backward towards the bed, a thousand scenarios filling my head.

"Oh but that is what I meant" I added mischievously as we fell onto the mattress.

I tipped her chin upward and pressed my lips to hers, feeling my rough lips creating friction with her soft ones. She responded eagerly as I swept my tongue across her bottom lip, gently biting down, asking for access. My hot tongue tangled with hers, sucking it. A moan left her mouth as a groan left mine.

I left her mouth and turned my attention to her collarbone. I pulled a bit of her skin into my mouth, sucking on it as she moaned. I bit down and made another hickey, licking it.

"I'm drunk, we shouldn't do this" I said, half believing it myself.

"You're right" she sighed. I kissed her once more and got under the covers. She lay down and I came up behind her, wrapping my arms aliens her and pulling her against my body, spooning her.

"Do you wanna get married?" I asked as I was fading off to sleep.

"What?" She asked in alarm.

"I'm going to marry you one day"
