Chapter Twenty-Two

"Do you need any help there?" Sehun asked.

The both of us decided to take a day off today. Yesterday Lay notified us that there will be a little charity event at the hospital he's working in. It's for the kids diagnosed with cancer.

I got really excited because it's one of the things I really love to do but unfortunately, my management wouldn't let me do it before. Now that I got to do this, I made sure that I can give a lot.

Right now, we're on the living room as I'm wrapping the gifts I bought for the kids. I was wrapping the gifts since yesterday but I got tired so I didn't get to finish them all but now I'm almost done.

"It's fine." I shook my head. "I'm almost done anyway."

"Jennie, let me." Sehun also sat on the floor, Indian style. "Why don't you go get ready?"

I stared at him for awhile. "You sure?"

He nodded and took the materials from me. "I'm sure."

I pressed my lips together and nodded. "Okay."

I watched him continue my work first before I decided to leave him alone and went upstairs. I headed straight to Sehun's room to take a shower. It took my 30 minutes to get fully ready. I put on a white plain Gucci shirt and a black skinny high waist jeans. I paired my outfit with a pair of white sneakers. I decided to put a light make up on so I atleast look more decent.

After that, I went straight downstairs. Sehun was nowhere to be found on the living room and all the gifts were wrapped up.

"See? Told you, I could do it."
Sehun smirked as he walked out of the kitchen.

"Did you use your superpower and stopped the time?" I accused him.

He laughed at me.

I stopped when I heard his laugh. That was the very first time I heard him genuinely laugh. It made me feel something.

"No, I don't do that." He said but there was humor in his tone.

"Yeah, right." I rolled my eyes to look annoyed, although I couldn't take away the sound of his laughter in my head.

He walked to me, smiling. "Did you just roll your eyes on me?" He raised his eyebrows.

I pursed my lips and looked away.

After our little banter, Sehun called some staff from the building and helped us bring the gifts to the van waiting outside, while Sehun was getting ready. It took us almost half an hour before we were ready to go.

Sehun and I used his Mercedes while we followed the van.

Sehun was wearing a white dress shirt, with three buttons open. He paired it with a worn out jeans and black boots. His hair was neatly combed. He looked so fresh and so professional.

"Stop staring." He said, his eyes still on the road.

I bit my lower lip and looked away.

Why? I can't help it. He looks so handsome.

We finally arrived at Lay's hospital. Some staff were waiting for us at the entrance. Including Lay.

Sehun was the first one to get out of the car. He opened the door for me and held my hand when I stepped out. I saw how Lay smirked at our sight.

We walked to the entrance and the staff bowed a little at Sehun.

"Mr. Oh, it's nice to see you again." Lay and Sehun shook hands.

"You too, Doctor." Sehun said in a very formal tone.

"And it's nice to finally meet you, Miss Kim." Lay turned to me and offered his hand.
