Who is this man?
This one who believes himself to be a God at times of good and plenty —
but at other times —
a man who puts on the cloak of Hades and hides down deep
into the valleys of his spirit.Who is this man but in all aspects a child hidden within
— really
Attempting to define himself as a man but...
when alone, always in thought:
Who am I but a boy wearing man's clothing?Then, as a new day rises, the warmth of the hot sun
burning away the leeches of the unconfident,
return to mind the power of the Olympians stored within.But not all can burn forever, and the chariot of Apollo may only fly so long.
Nyx, soon to follow, darkens all places;
expanding the shadows.
Gifted is not thee under the shadows for
Morpheus does not make shapes for this dreamer.How does one function between two worlds?
played back and forth upon a racket;
cycling with each season of the world?Persephone is able to, but!, she is not a man.
She is a goddess; the truest strength amongst them.
This, this here is but a man... maybe.Looked upon the skin, he is but a man to everyone else.
Inside, he is a battle between two halves;
trading the captain's cap back and forth
over and over again.
