i pull away from the kiss , i look behind me everyone is in shock and if i'm being honest i'm also in shock that i kissed back. i looked at mattia a smile was forming on his face , i shook my head and walked into my car. i left the parking lot ready to go home and wash away the regret

i walk out of the shower and wrap a towel around my body , i look at myself in the mirror. 3 weeks in new jersey and your already a mess. at least my best friend is coming over for winter break tonight.
"honey you have visitors" my grandfather says from downstairs
"tell them to come up" i say thinking it's the boys and riley , i hear a knock on my room door
"come in and just wait on my bed" i say , the person is silent but i hear the door close i dry off , moisturize , and put on my hoodie , i realize i forgot my shorts
"hey um can you bring me my shorts from my closet?" i say hoping one of my friends bring will listen , i hear shuffling and the door opens a little and a hand pops in with nike pro shorts , i examine the hand , it's a boys hand with a rubber band , i grab the shorts and realize who's hand it is
"mattia?" i ask while putting on my shorts
"in the flesh" he says nervously, i grab a hair tie and put my hair in a ponytail , i walk out the bathroom and there he is standing in my room , not the whole group but just him.
"what are you doing here?"
"i'm here to talk to you about what happened"
"talk"
"i meant everything that i said i was scared to let you in , i was scared that you would leave me heartbroken like jenna , but now i know that i want you and im not scared because i actually want to try to be in a relationship with you"
"mattia , you don't fucking get it do you? you told me you liked me , you took my virginity , and after all of that you went back to your ex. you played me like a fucking game"
"i didn't play you i was confused , i never had someone love me like you did so i was confused and i didn't want to have my heart broken again so i went back to someone who i thought could help but she kissed me instead trying to win me back , but the whole time i was thinking about you maya , i want you. only you"
"and i want to trust you but i don't know if i should" the whole room is overthrown with silence , my door knob clicks and my best friend from new york walks through the door , i see her and i scream i engulf her in a hug and she catches me.
"i missed you hailey" i say with a tear drop rolling down my cheek
"i missed you so fucking much you don't even know , i had to make new friends" she jokes , i laugh
"who's that?" hailey says pointing to mattia
"that is mattia"
"like the mattia" i nod , mattia waves and hailey gets angry
"how dare you-"
"hailey stop , don't go after him"
"the fuck you mean don't go after him , didn't you see yourself in the mirror last night , you were fucking broken"
i look at hailey and mattia , i look at him in his eyes and sigh
"i've decided to give him a chance again because i like him a lot and jenna can fuck off because i'm gonna fight for what's mine"  i say with a smile , hailey looks at me with a soft smile
"okay i support y'all as long as mattia doesn't mess up" hailey agree's , mattia is just standing there shock
"deadass? your going to give me a chance?"
"yes" he runs to me and smashes his lips into mine for the second time today , it feels right
