Ricky x Ej (HSMTMTS)

Chapter 1

REWRITE (I still can't write but I want to rewrite. MISTAKES WILL BE THERE. IM LAZY AND DONT WANNA LOOK OVER IT. I also gave up on season two cause I don't like how the show is going)

Ricky can tell his parents can't stand each other. They fight basically every day about the littlest things. As much as he hated when they fought. He was still happy they were married. He didn't want his parents to get a divorce for many reasons. He doesn't wanna have to travel back and forth for his parents nor did he wanna have to move. He wishes his parents will just stick it until he graduates. But you know. The world has to hate him.

Ricky sighs as he comes home to find his parents fighting again. He rolls his eyes as he's about to walk upstairs but he hears something that stops him. 

"I AM TAKING MY SON TO CHICAGO END OF STORY!!!" Ricky's mom yelled. 

"What?" Ricky mumbles very confused. Why would she want to take him to Chicago? Finally, it hits him. She never said we. She said I am. 

The day Ricky dreaded finally came. His parents were getting a divorce. His parents were gonna split up and now he has to deal with all the shit that comes with it. He ignores the rest of the conversation and sulks his way up to his room.

Ricky has been staring at this wall for the past hour now. Not knowing what to think. He stops staring when theirs a knock on his door. "Come in," Ricky says and quickly tries to act happy. 

"Hey bud, we need to have a talk," Ricky's dad says when he opens the door. He walks into his son's room and moves over to where his son is sitting on the bed. "As you probably could tell me and your mom haven't really been getting along, we decided it would be best for us and you, to split," Ricky's dad says trying his best to not freak Ricky out. "This may be a lot to process but we know it will be good for us," Ricky's dad smiles. 

Ricky doesn't say a word. He knew this was coming. He just didn't want to believe it. "Where am I gonna stay?" Ricky mumbles. 

"We haven't decided that yet, but your mom wants to take you to Chicago and it seems like she will," Ricky's dad sighs. "The court decides I guess which doesn't make sense to me," Ricky's dad mumbles. "I'm trying to get your mom to let you choose but I don't think it will work out that way," Ricky's dad says. "I'm sorry bud," He mumbles. 

All Ricky does is nod. "Ok," He mumbles. 

"You gonna be ok?" Ricky's dad asks. 

All Ricky can do is nod. Ricky's dad sighs before he stands up. He soon leaves the room and Ricky just sits there. Finally, though, the dam breaks. Tears fall from his eyes quickly and his breath quickens. He tries to keep the sobbing quiet but he really doesn't care. All he cares about is the fact he might have to move. He's gonna have to leave his boyfriend, his friends. He's gonna have to leave everything and move to stupid Chicago with his stupid mom.

Ricky doesn't know what to do. He doesn't wanna burden his friends or his boyfriend. He just has to deal with this on his own. He keeps thinking and realizes he's gonna end it with E.J. He doesn't wanna make E.J. do long distance. He wants E.J. to happy. 

He has to break up with E.J.
