It was a group of 4 friends.
Once they decided to try out Ouija board.
Saanvi backed out since she was really afraid of ghosts.
They did not actually believe spirits existed. So the 4 of them went to Chandra's ancestral home, which was usually locked all the time and experiment it.
It was 2 am. They passed time in an attempt to stay awake and Saanvi collected all the godly items in the house and kept it in the room they decided to play with the board. She was scared.
Raghav was pissed of seeing all that in the room. "why would spirits come if you keep all these!?" he said and kept all of them back in their places.
Saanvi was agitated. So she decided to play a prank on them. It was decided that when they started the game, she would go to bed, so she didnt have to face anything supernatural, if it actually existed. But she had an idea of faking sleep and when the game would reach the peak, she would act possessed and scare all of them.
She went to bed. They started the game.
Lakshmi, Raghav and Chandra kept their fingers on the board.
Raghav: "Hey, spirit... Do you exist!?"
Board: "Yes"
Lakshmi : I'm already creeped!
Chandra: shut up! Hey spirit... What's your name?
Board: P-S-Y-C-H-O
Chandra (bursts into laughter) : what the hell!?
Lakshmi : I'm more creeped out... What if the ghost was a psychopath!?
Raghav: That's so cool!! Hey... Psycho... When did you die
Board: 3 - 3 - 3
Chandra : so... We take it as March 3rd 2003?
Board : yes
Lakshmi : Fuck it... Its my birth date. Im outta here
Raghav(laughs hysterically) : hey psycho... Will you posess Lakshmi?
Board: no
Lakshmi : thank god! Wait... Dude... Where is Saanvi
Board: yes
All the three are in a shock.
Raghav tries to get up when Chandra pulls him back.
"You are not supposed to take your hands of the board till you say goodbye."
Raghav: okay. We end this here. We say goodbye and find Saanvi.
Board: No
All three : we're doomed.
"Yes. Yes you are..." says Saanvi.
She is wrapped in a white saree. Her eyes are smudged black. Her teeth are red.
All scream and try to run for their lives.
"Waiiitt!!! Guys.... I was joking!!!" laughs Saanvi
"Nice try spirit Psycho... But we aren't falling for it...." yells Chandra, holding a Bhagavad-Gita in his hand.
"Chandra...give that to me. I'll hold it and prove I'm Saanvi"
Saanvi holds it. And smiles.
All are relieved.
"You literally killed us..."
Saanvi laughs and starts wiping the khol of her eyes.
"what is this on your teeth?" Lakshmi asks.
"Tomato ketchup! Cant you make out??" asks Saanvi.
They all retire to bed.
Next morning.
"Guyssss!!!! Wake upppp!!!! Saanvi is missing!!!"
The two boys wake up.
"Why are you so worried!? She must have gone to the bathroom.." Chandra says.
"I still cant forget her face from yesterday... I'm still creeped out."
"Wait I'll go and check" says Chandra.
The three go the bathroom to find it locked from outside. They open it to find Saanvi panting for breath.
As soon as she sees them she cries and hugs them.
"Where were you all this while!? I've been banging the door since yesterday night.... I went to the bathroom before you guys started and someone locked me from outside... Thank god i had this Rudrakshi with me..."
All remaimed silent. Extremely silent...
When they went to the room, they saw a writing on the wall.
NOT ALL SPIRITS FEAR BHAGAVAD-GITA. AND DON'T WORRY. THIS IS STILL TOMATO KETCHUP.
