Dearest Love,

You will be glad to hear that getting to my Nan and moving in
with her went smoothly. Well as smoothly as it could have done.
Robin isn't a fan of trains, she says that they are too nosey. She was
crying for most of the train ride but she is ok now.

Her and my Nan are becoming the best of friends and she loves living with her.
I do however think this is mostly because she has her own bedroom.

She wanted me to let you know that Teddy is safe and ok. But he didn't like the train ever
but also that my Nan is nitting him a red coat like the one Robin always wears. Also she has
made a four legged friend called pebble, which is a grey tabby cat.

Nothing much is happening with me, I have just finished reading Pride and Prejudice.

I know that you are in safe hands. The hands of God. I know that my prayers are being heard
but like I always stay keep on going forward and never look behind. When has looking behind
ever helped anyone.

Love From M. Always.

Ps this button had fallen off my blue dress, with the white flower on it.

***

I wanted their letter to each other to be 'light' at the beginning and
slowly starting to get darker.

I did have a look at some war letter, to help give me an idea of what they would say and the writing.

Teddy = Teddy bear, which Will had given their daughter as present.
Robin = is their daughter, not the bird.
Letter To = are Maggie letter to Will.

I imagine that in each letter Maggie send to Will, she would give a little something.
He would keep the object and put it in his taboo tin box.
