It was the day of my engagement party, the day we united both Auradon and the Isle. Evie, Jay, Carlos and I all raced across the bridge until I felt something, I could hear my own heart beating, my palms were sweaty, my stomach felt queasy, something didn't feel right. Evie questioned if I were okay but I didn't hear her, my vision was blurry and I couldn't hear clearly. All of a sudden, as I stressed at the edge of the bridge, all of my thoughts went away, I fainted into the ocean. I've fainted before but this feeling felt different. Instantly, Evie, Jay and Carlos tried to get in contact with Ben. Ben never came, sometimes I still question why he'd do that, Evie jumped into the Ocean and saved my life! She then gave me mouth to mouth, I woke up from a nightmare. I realised, Evie is my light in the dark, my diamond in the rough, I looked into her sweetly intense eyes that shimmered like a dark chocolate sea. My head leaned in closer to hers, my heart was racing, her red lips touched mine, I felt a strong connection with her that I didn't have with Ben. I knew from then that I wanted to be with Evie.
