"Hermione, have you noticed anything strange around here?" Annabeth asked. "Any monsters that may be Greek?"
Hermione shrugged. "I mean, there are rumors, but I am not sure."
"Hmm" Piper said. "Maybe we could ask around, or keep watch, or—"
"There is a empousa right there. No, scratch that, there are two empousai." Calypso said. (A/N yes. Calypso can sense these sort of things. She does have some other powers. Go figure)
The group turned to two what seemed to be ordinary girls flirting with a dazed Harry and Ron. The demigods saw their form glitch, and for a moment they saw their shaggy donkey and bronze legs and their vampire look.
"Harry?! Ron?!" Hermione yelped.
"Oh, Ron dear, would you take care of those people?" One of the empousai asked Ron in a mall girl voice. She looked and sounded awfully like...
"Kelly" Annabeth growled.
"Oh my gods" Kelly said annoyed with her usual diva voice. "I thought you died in Tartarus!"
"Well, we didn't, but we'll send you back to Tartarus" Percy growled, leaping forward to attack.
"Ron!" Kelly exclaimed, and Ron pulled out his wand and shouted "expliomus!" (A/N forgive me, I can't spell)
Percy was flung into the air and landed on the other side of the room.
"Percy!" Annabeth yelled, running to her boyfriend.
"Ron stop!" Hermione yelled. Ron shook his head, and for a moment he was normal.
"Hermione? I-I..." Ron trailed off, seeing what he had done and going pale.
"No Ron!" Kelly yelled. The other empousa shoved Ron and Harry into a nearby closet and knocked out Leo, joining the battle. (Sorry Leo)
Piper, filled with rage, charged from behind and stabbed Kelly in the back, right where Annabeth had stabbed her years ago. The empousa screamed as she turned to dust. The other one was impaled by Nico, and also turned to dust.
"Oh my!" Hermione exclaimed. "I wasn't much help I'm afraid. I apologize."
"No, it's ok," Annabeth assured, tending to Percy. Will came over with medical supplies and started to help Leo. Annabeth got up once Percy appeared to be fine and headed over to Hermione. "It was something you knew nothing about. Don't worry, Hermione."
"Whatswronghermione?" Ron asked, he and Harry stumbled out of their closet.
"Ron!" Hermione said, running over to them. "Are you alright?"
"What happened?" Harry asked. Then he saw Leo and the ruined common room. "Oh my..."
"Yup" Leo groaned.
"You don't wanna know" Will assured.
"Ok then" Ron said.
"C'mon guys, we need to go get lunch." Percy said casually to change the subject, leading the rest of the eight and Hermione out. Harry and Ron stood there dumbstruck, then decided to follow them.
