* 2 years later *

Forth was still asleep when Kit came home from work. It was 3 in the morning and Kit just got off of his shift at a small clinic in town - one more year till he can officially be a nurse. Until then it's a lot of classwork and volunteering at clinics. 

Lea was still awake in the living room when Kit got home - she was studying for her finals later that day. Kit smiled at her and immediately went to the kitchen to heat up dinner, and then go upstairs to shower and sleep. He reheated some chicken and rice, eating that as he checked emails and replied to MingBeam and PhaYo texts that he missed earlier. Ari came downstairs ready for work (a surgeon) when she saw Kit eating dinner.

"How was work?" She asked and gave Kit a hug as she got some eggs out. 

"It was ok, I'm tired though." Kit said and yawned.

"You feeling alright? You look a little pale," Ari asked and Kit shrugged. 

"I haven't been feeling well for a couple of days, but every time one of the other nurses tests me, everything comes back fine," Kit said and Ari was a bit sceptical. 

"I'll bring a couple tests when I get back from work, for now, just get some rest and sleep for a while," Ari said and Kit nodded, putting his plate away and going up to shower and sleep. 

* after his shower *

Kit had thrown up once he had gotten out of the shower, Forth is a heavy sleeper and had no idea what was happening. Kit felt like shit. He put his shorts on and one of Forth's shirts, before getting in bed and hugging his stuffie so he didn't wake Forth up. Forth woke up about an hour later and noticed Kit seemed to be sick, he was really warm and sniffling in his sleep. Forth put his arm around Kit and pulled him closer. 

* around 6 PM *

"Kitty... wake up baby," Forth said and Kit slowly woke up. He didn't look good at all. 

"hm?" Kit turned to look up at Forth. 

"You have a fever babe, how do you feel?" Forth asked and helped Kit sit up against the headboard so he could drink a little water. 5 minutes later Kit jumped out of bed and threw up again. 

"Have you taken any medic---" 

"Kit, I'm back, can I come in?" Ari asked knocking on the door. Forth opened the door as Kit was brushing his teeth and getting ready to go back to bed.

"Hey, he asleep?" Ari asked when she saw Forth open the door.

"He's in the bathroom, he threw up," Forth said and Ari went over to the bathroom and walked in unannounced. It's her brother, she didn't need to knock. 

"Take these," She handed him a couple of papers and a box. 

* 2 hours later *

"I'm gonna ask Jae, but according to these tests, you two are going to be parents," Ari said.

All of the colour drained from the couple's faces. They were--- what?

"How is that even possible? I'm a guy," Kit asked and laid in bed. His stomach hurt. 

"I'm not sure exactly how, but it's a pretty rare thing, you're special Kitty," Ari said and Forth just stood there in shock. Ari left them alone to let everything sink in....
