Months after the day at the beach, Lauren and Josh are laying on Lauren's couch. "I took a 'Which HSM Character Are You!' quiz and I got Gabriella. Am I a Gabriella?", Josh asks.
"Yes, You actually kind of are", Lauren says laughing.
Josh smiles and continues scrolling on his phone.

Lauren lifts his head up from her lap and starts talking, "So! I've been thinking and....".
Joshua is waiting for Lauren to continue her sentence while Lauren is waiting for Joshua to finish her sentence.

"Okay then, Do you want to be my boyfriend?", Lauren blurts out. Joshua opens his eyes widely as her confidence, considering Joshua couldn't even ask her on a date.
Lauren takes his reaction as a no and immediately says, "Or not! Haha just kidding, you know jokes jokes... It's all jokes-".
Lauren was cut off by Joshua kissing her.

Once they pull away Joshua says, "Of course".
Lauren has the biggest smile on her face and throws her arms around Josh. They both fall back on the couch laughing.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL: THE MUSICAL: THE SERIES
Actors, Joshua Bassett and Lauren Cardoza, recently revealed their romantic relationship days after the season finale premiered. It is said that they had been dating since filming started.

"HAAAAAAA", Lauren hollers while reading the article. "This is too funny, Josh. I need to read more!". Joshua takes the phone from her, "What you need to do is get to sleep, Laur". Lauren gets up to face Joshua, ".... You... Mr.... Are not wrong I am very tired!". Joshua smiles and accompanies Lauren upstairs you're her bedroom.

"Goodnight Lauren, I love you", Joshua says as Lauren gets into bed. Lauren sits up in a flash, "What?". Joshua, not realising what he had said replies with, "What?".
"You what?", Lauren asks. "What?", Joshua asks still clueless.

"You love me?", Lauren says blushing. "Oh! I said that?", Joshua says astonished he even said it. "I mean I do! I do love you. I just don't remember saying that. Did I say that? Wow I am so out of it-", Joshuas rambling gets cut off by Lauren saying, "I love you too Joshua".

They both instantly smile. Joshua stands up, "Alright then, Miss Cardoza. Goodnight, I love you". Lauren smiles and gives Joshua a goodnight kiss before he leaves her apartment. As Joshua is about to close the door Lauren yells, "I love you!".

She hears Joshua laughing before locking the front door. Both Lauren and Joshua went to sleep smiling.
