"You'll be discharged this morning Sam,you're doing quite fine,just ensure to get lots of rest when you return home okay." explained one of the nurses to Sam.
"Thanks so much,you all really assisted me to complete health,I no longer feel pain in my body. "Sam said with a bright smile across his face.The nurse then took the drips out of his arms and carried him into the hall where his parents were waiting for him.
"Oh my son,I'm so excited that you get to come home with us today. "Mrs.Peterson said whilst her and Mr.Peterson rushed to hug him.
"Yes my beautiful parents, I feel grateful to God to be alive to see your faces again!"Sam cheerfully said and they accompanied him side by side towards there vehicle.
On their arrival home,Sam rushed to his room and took a nap for eight hours straight.He truly missed being home.His older siblings were in different countries working and were unable to visit him when he was in the hospital, so they often spoke to him over skype.
Sam's parents had tried their best,but had difficulty in searching for the person who struck their son.Sam's parents will always ask him if he remembers the accident and his memory were always a bit vague.All that he could remember on that day is that, he was riding his bicycle home.After that he completely blacked out from the injuries to his brain.His parents are hoping that he remembers what happened that day,so that he can get justice.
Few onlookers who saw the scene of the accident chooses not to say anything,because they believe that snitches get stitches.A store owner's camera had captured the entire incident but the number plate of the vehicle was too blurry to identify.Only if Maria chooses to confess,Chris can pay for what he did to Sam.
*Maria's apartment*
Maria had just came out of the shower and all that she could do is stare at herself in the mirror.Not admiring herself but being eaten by the guilt within her soul.Weeks after the incident which almost cost Sam his life,it destroyed her.She couldn't eat nor sleep knowing what her boyfriend did to that innocent young man.Before she goes to school she'll use heavy make up foundation to cover up the baggy eyes and stress marks that had began to show across her face.She felt haunted and tormented by that man called "gulit". She later sat in her hallway and depressingly wept for hours.

"You self centered girl,you took Chris 's card to go spoil yourself,you should have let him keep it.You should have confessed the truth.You're a monster Maria!" He replied, "How many times would you call me to say the same thing over and over? Besides I have practice with the boys,will talk to you later!"He hung up on her and all she could have done was scream and cried herself to sleep like a baby.
The next morning she got ready and drove to school.Immediately when she glimpsed Chris across the hall she ran up to him and whispered, "It's over between us,I won't sell out your little secret but I can't be with someone as horrific like you."
"Give me back my credit card and all the stuff which I bought you." He said.
"With pleasure you jerk!" She threw the credit card across his face and ran towards the trunk of her vehicle and gave him a suitcase filled with the stuff which he bought her.She even left some things at home because she knows that'll he'll be too dumb to notice.

Chris grabbed the suitcase out of her hands and Shouted, "You'll regret this Maria,you're lucky that vehicle is on your name,but whose going to pay your rent now haha?"
"You don't worry about me Chris I'll find a way without you,something that I should have done all along."She said while angrily trotting towards her class.
Chris threw the suitcase of supplies in the back seat of his vehicle and he sat inside his car boiling with rage.He was in disbelief that Maria would have ever broken up with a wealthy guy like him.He had plan on selling all the clothing,shoes and accessories.He scrolled through his phone and watched a picture which they had taken out together when they were on vacation in Bora Bora.
