Alright here's the thing, this year I've been gifting some of my best friends with drawings and a note on their birthday, so here they are!
The first one is the one I did for my friend last year in October.

I really thought this would be quite challenging to draw, but she requested this so... welp😂
But tbh, it was quite fun too! At least now I can say I've drawn derpy Hermione HAHA
Pls excuse the fact that I didn't draw her face and my lazy butt just filled in a surprise pikachu meme for it, cuz I wanted to draw smt diff from the original and make her look very surprised. However, I only managed to find another reference for her open left hand and couldn't find anything for her surprised face.
Hence, being my unconfident self in drawing faces without references, I gave up that idea entirely. But hey, the meme gives it much more spirit, donchu think? LMAO
And yes, I added Ron at the side as a surprise touch. #noregrets

I drew this for her cuz the magical pretty aspect of it rlly reminded me of that particular friend... eheh.
This took me a few hours cuz the hair was super hard to get right😂 I finished it around midnight and my hand was dying--
I didn't draw the complete left side of the hair cuz only after I started drawing the right side I realised it was disproportionate and I couldn't fit the left side exactly like the original. Since I had already spent so much work on it, it would be heartbreaking to start all over again, so I just cut out some of the parts of the hair :(
Surprisingly tho, it still looks okay🤣🤣
I used a green pen for the leaves, a blue pen for the bubbles and two highlighters for the flowers. I decided not to trace the whole thing with black pen because there are diff size pencil strokes and I figured it would look nicer this way ack-

I drew this for my other friend (their bdays are both in Jan so I had to make two😅) and funny thing is: I was only drawing it halfway when I realised how much this looked like her.
As in, she's basically the queen of bubble tea and her hair is beautiful, very airy like cotten candy. She's always looking aesthetic so it pretty much fits the picture XDD
This one, I spent most of my time trying to proportionate the face. For some reason it kept coming out wrong and nothing like the original I was referencing from, so yeh I spent a lot of time on it LOL
Anyways, I'm actually really happy with all these drawings ^=^ I hope my friends thought it was a geniunely thoughtful and sentimental gift and know that I love 'em *hugglez* HAPPY BELATED BDAY QR, WX AND PHOEBS!♡♡
