Hello again, this is my "blog" again, where im just gonna write out some feelings and probably complain a lot... because what else would i do? I have my first exam of the semester tomorrow and it is in my genetics class which idk im feeling decently prepared for, i should def do a lot more studying before i take it tho haha. Ive had this pretty awful ear infection for like a week now which is really fucking pissing me off-- like go away its been long enough yaknow?
I actually should probably be studying right now instead of writing this so im going to take a quick pause on this and probably come back to writing this part in a day or so.
Hello-- i have returned, it is the next day and i am currently in my biochem lab running my agarose gel (basically to see where different enzymes cleave a DNA fragment by separating it out by size). This whole process takes about an hour of sitting and waiting so most people in my class are being productive and doing homework or studying, but cut to me, with a genetics exam in less than 3 hours-- writing this instead of studying. My view on last minute studying is that it is kinda pointless tho-- like ive been learning this material for the past four weeks or so, so like if I dont know it now i dont think im going to be able to learn it in two hours haha.
Im really excited to get done with this lab because I'm going to buy myself some lunch (probably pasta from piada or noodles and company) and then just wait until my exam-- but food just sounds SO GOOD right now. I could actually really go for a sandwich too tho today so maybe ill do a jimmy johns or potbelly-- the world is my oyster i have so many options but all my fat ass really wants is some good old mcdonalds chicken nuggets (theres no mcdonalds in walking distance to me tho). My exam goes until 8 pm today and then im going to go to the gym with a couple of my friends which im excited for! I was going to the gym alot and then i got pretty sick for the past week and a half so i havent been since- so itll be nice to go today even though im still a little bit sick.
I dont have much more to add to this for now so i guess ill publish and check on my agarose gel lmaoo-- wish me luck on my exam!
